De Facto was a dub band, which is very good, well on their time!

funny though, they came from At The Drive In, if you get my drift... they are now, The Mars Volta Group today... after their music manipulator jeremy ward died of overdose.. such talented musicians...

A little OT, but has anyone seen Bob Marley's Original Wailers live? They are going to be in Seattle at the end of this month, and I am considering dragging my ass out there to experience the show.

I've seen them 3 times live. It's beautiful because the Wailers attract such a diverse crowd. The unity vibe is amazing!!

    John Brown's Body... dig it!

I havent heard john brown's body but they have a side band called 10 ft. ganja plant who kick ass

Livelihood, Kung kodum, and kultiration are 3 swedish reggae bands I enjoy alot, they have a very cool sound i suggest checking out.

Aggrolites are way cool, for those who like punk, they did a collaboration with Tim Armstrong, I got the bootleg but the sound quality sucks too bad but they are a great band,

    Judge Dread is a classic

    Jai Alai Savant

Jackie Mittoo ( more ska, but still great)

    The Expendables
    Cimarons
    easy star all stars
    eek a mouse

Those are all I listen to now, reggae is one of the genres I love but dont know a whole lot about it probably because I mostly just like roots reggae, I hate synthesized 'beats'

Peter Tosh! I like the old school the best. I was psyched to have the sirius sat radio, with the reggae station, and they only played crappy new stuff for the most part. Too commercial and produced sounding.
