You'll become sleepy, and perhaps fall asleep. If you're an insomniac, you'll need something a bit stronger to fall asleep. I haven't heard of.... oh wait, maybe I did many years ago, but, have not, since primary school, heard of anyone trying this. Trying to get high off of Nyquil may very well not be safe depending on dosage. Please don't waste my time if you're joking. We'll forgive you. If not, give some more details on your plan to get 'Nyked out'.
Im pretty sure most of the nyquil syrups have apap in them, so check the labeling. Nyquil Cough has just dxm and an antihistamine, which acts as a hypnotic also
If you are getting Nyquil Cough, I think it contains DXM and DPH. The combination of the two can make you rahter sleepy, but if you can stay awake, you will have a rather intense DXM trip with very realistic visuals. If you really wanna go through with this, I'd just recomend taking some robo gels with some dramamine or benadryl. Same effects without the nasty taste of syrup. Or if you don't wanna pop a bunch of pills, get Zicam for your Dxm source. Its pretty much pure dxm in a small bottle that you can drink like a shot. Just one swig and take a couple Dramamine and you got your "Nyquil high"
