Bush is like Gomer Pyle..and Kerry looks like Satan I am not voting, I have never voted or even registered..When I see someone worth voting for(which will probably be never ) I will then vote...
I agree I have not registered, I should... If I did, I would have to vote for Bush based on morality.
I decided that I wouldn't vote. That's ok because the american authorities also decided that, since I'm in Canada... Isn't Bush a guy people love to hate? He could be in "Dallas: the next generation" and play JR's son...
*yawn* Kerry is the lesser of two evils, which is all we can hope for in American politics. i'm registered, and i vote democratic/progressive
I cannot in good conscience, vote for a man who could possibly be held accountable for the deaths of millions of innocent lives, both our boys and those in other countries. Kerry might be as bad as Bush, or worse, in some ways, but I don't care. He at least doesn't seem so heartily ready to send our boys into an unneeded, ill-prepared for war. Holly
I'm not voting. I don't like either, and don't want to take any part in helping either of them get into office, If I was already registered I'd vote libertarian, but I'm not so for the reasons above I'm not going to bother atm.
I know I'm probably going to sound like an advocacy ad, but at this point I don't care. It really is important to get out and vote. Something like 45% of the American population votes for President (although i do realize that this percentage is going to be larger this year) and who do you think votes? Rich, white men (although I also know I'm generalizing, the majority actually are). Do we really want a select elite telling us who our next president should be? If you dont' agree with the Kerry or Bush, there are other options. There is an Independent, a Green, and a Libertarian. I think there may even be a progressive this year. We all know most politicians suck...and I agree for the most part, but we have the option of getting our voice out. In most countries, people dont' have a say in who their leader will be. We do...therefore we should take advantage of our opportunity. I see a lot of complainers on here...and then from the same mouths I hear they aren't going to vote. Well if you don't like the way things are...get out and change them. Voting is one of those ways we can make a difference. There...there is my advocacy ad. Ridicule me...burn me at the post...at least no one paid me to say this...It is bipartisan...
Sorry, still wont vote..Why should I vote if I dont like any of them? Just so I can..Nope, I wont ever vote until I see someone worth voting for, which will probably never happen.
See the signature. Between a flawed man who would take the fight to the terrorists and a simpering UN-sucking ninny, the choice should be obvious.
Bah, that's just fear-mongering. Anyways, don't forget about the third-party candidates! If we want more choices for president it is up to us to vote for them!
You don't like the positions of any candidates at all, including third party? If not, I'd still vote for libertarian; they've the best chance of getting enough votes to make them a nationally recognized party. The day we get out of this two party mold would be a good one, imo!
This is what I am talking about. I know you were telling me your opinion and such, which I appreciate, but dont tell me who or how to vote. I dont want to vote cause I dont like any of them. I am not going to vote just cause I have the power too. Thats silly...I will vote when I see someone worth voting for.
Kerry is my man. I'm not voting for the lesser of two evils, I really like Kerry. He won't lead us into another distraction from fighting terrorism. He would implement a pay as you go budget policy, similar to clinton. Bush was talking about pro-growth policies at the debate last night, the best pro-growth policy is to be fiscally responsible in the first place. This tax cut isn't a tax cut at all, it is a tax defferment. Don't kid yourselves. Instead of the current baby boomer generation paying for it, my generation will have to foot the bill, and that is simply unfair. Finally, Kerry will only appoint judges that will uphold the constitutional right to an abortion described in Roe v Wade. Peace, Alex Kerry/Edwards 2004!!!
