i found 25 mg of ambien. i just took 5 because im curious, and i dont want to get too fucked up tonight anyway. i think i will take the other 20 one night when i have nothing to do and smoke some weed with it too. so anybody have any experience with recreational use of ambien? it should be at least somewhat similar to xanax as they are both GABA agonists, right?
its so fucked up...i lost control of my body after 40 mgs. be very careful with it man. forgot almost everything that happened and slept for like 18 hours.
I discovered the trippy effects of Ambien accidentally, my ex gf gave me 2 10mg pills and I took them but sat up longer than expected on the computer, all of a sudden I looked down and the keyboard was like ancient looking and very old, I looked around the room and everything got really funny and for a moment I thought I was in a subway station sitting at a random desk next to the tracks....it was fucked up. Don't take it and fight the urge to fall asleep, it gets pretty insane...
My old roommate had a script and would take them then stay up at his computer for awhile. I would be on the couch watching tv and hear a thud, look over, and he is laying on the floor still in his comp chair which had fallen over. Then he would stand up all disoriented and confused, talking all kinds of crazy shit. Its a fucked up drug.
sounds like fun ^_^ this small dose just has me feeling more talkative, a little bit of a warm body feeling like an opiate high. i'm digging it...to bad i dont have more, if i did i might set aside a bit just to take in small doses like this, maybe it will help my social anxiety some.
Ive done ambian once. i only remember 2 things. i remember sitting in my friends room and looking at the clock before any of the effects started. i looked at the clock, then looked down, then looked at the clock again and it was exactly an hour later and there was a girl in the room. it felt like one second had passed, but it was an hour. the girl told me that my friend and i walked over to her house all mess up and and knocked on the door, so she walked us back to my friends house. she said that we kept saying we were seeing shit, but i don't remember seeing any trippy things at all. luckily she was a friend of my friend and not just so random chick whos house we decided to go to. the only other thing i can remember, i didn't remember till weeks later. i remember walking out of my friends room and having to lean against the wall to get down the stairs. other than that, its all blank. its a very odd drug. not recreational in my opinion.
i've never heard of anyone using ambien to get fucked up. but if you think about it, it IS a sleep aid. as in it's meant to put you to sleep. unless you really can't stand to be awake, that really doesn't sound like a fun time :S
Ambien can definietly be used recreationally, its like dreaming while being awake. Very strange drug. Only take it at night when your at home though.
i've never used ambien for recreational use, but it does give me a good night's sleep when i take it for that.
I heard it acts as a sleep aid by blocking formation of short term memories. It doesn't make you fall asleep much faster, you just don't remember tossing and turning.

when i told my doctor i was going to italy, i told her i was extreamly nervous. i told her i would like something to knock me out for the flights. she told me i had two options. either xanax or ambien. i tld her i would like to be completely knocked out and she said ambien would that. after talkinf though she decided xanax would be better because i would be alert but have no worries. she said she didnt want me over sleeping the flight and wake up groggy or not knowing where i was. the xanax was great by the way.
similar stuff happens to me when i take seroquel and stay awake, all kinds of crazy patterns and stuff. several of my friends have had similar results.

LMAO your dumb i took 2 25s and i fell asleep texting seriously ambien is bad though id take that as a wise word of advise my friends dad was on ambien and was sleep walking and moved all the furniture in their house to the center of the living room one day and broke his toes in the process
