do mexican cartels still produce black tar or did they improve their method to produce pure powdered heroin such as the shit comin from afghanistan and colombia?
i think most of the heron comin from the western us is probably black. i'm not an expert on this though.

Im colombian but I cant go to Colombia until Im off probation in 2010. I too have heard they got some fire powdered h down there, thats probably the first thing Im gonna look for when I get down there.
i live in a state that borders mexico and pretty much all we get here is the black tar. sometimes people will mix it with lactose to create a powder - but most people really prefer the tar here. though some old school people i used to know actually believed that you cannot get high off straight tar and need the lactose though - LOL (and i am talking about IV use)
i heard most heroin on the westcoast is mexican black tar, theres also a good amount of mexican brown... on the east coast its colombian white... not so much afghani heroin in the states though... eventhough afghanistan is the leading world producer, colombia is the the major supplier of heroin to the US... colombian heroin is much cleaner and purer than nasty ass black tar... eventhough 100% pure heroin should be white as cocaine that doesnt mean that all white heroin is pure or strong... what i used to get in canada always had an off white color, good shit though...
i have never had white powdered H. here if it is white powder it is probably phentanol (sp?) which can give you instant parkinson's disease - so i am afraid to try it. but there is powdered tar - which is tar mixed with lactose in a coffee grinder.... some of the old school junkies here used to believe that if you didn't put the lactose in the tar you couldn't feel it... i don't know why.... personally, i love tar and if i was going to do it again - that is what i would look for... which is lucky because that is about all you can find here!!! djh
I'll take good tar over shitty powder anyways -- when you think about it, it is much easier to cut white powder, and tar is better, bags i had from NY 4th & patterson do not compare to tar, and also, size(weight) doesn't mean shit, it only means something when comined with purity/quality
i knw what u mean however the process of manufacturing black tar produces a shitty product... the process of manufacturing powdered heroin produces an excellent product however dealers cut it until its a shitty product... so in the end its kinda the same thing... however high grade powder is much better than high grade tar, however u cant ever be sure of the shit ur getting.... but think of it, do u prefer shooting that black gooey nasty stuff or fine powder into ur veins? btw what is more efficient smoking tar or powder?
It seems as if the people on the east coast, including me, although I have never tried tar, prefer the powder and the people farther west prefer the tar. But, my boy from here in Philly that I used to get high with moved to Denver and started doing the tar out there, said he couldn't find powder and asked me to send some out to him(which I would not do). So there is atleast 1 example of someone trying both and prefers to have the powder.
i have a question that is kinda off topic? i never smoked heroin cuz eventhough the rush is stronger than snorting, its ineffiecient and a waste of good heroin... my question is what is more efficient to smoke? tar or powder? powder liquifies quickly and if u over heat it u loose most of it, what about tar? my other questions is why is heroin always smoked using the "chase the dragon method" on a foil paper? couldnt it be smoked using a freebase pipe like crack and meth? atleast with the pipe u get to inhale most of the smoke, on a foil paper u loose alot... plus on the foil paper u have to tilt it a bit so that the heroin moves and releases vapours along its movement, which is kinda hard to do....
u can smoke it out of a base pipe, but i dont know how effective it would be, my guess is that tar is more efficient to smoke but it depends on what type of powder and the purity
