Looks like I get to test the water theory. I got a suprise 5 panel test today. I have smoked about a quarter ounce of mj last week with the last toke saturday night. Its really not such a suprise as much as a gamble that might not pay off. I had gotten busted by my employer on a random last year so I am in the follow up program. They had been sending me out about once every 6 weeks, this time it was 20 days since my last test. I had been sneaking in a few bowls when I thought it was reasonably safe and have gotten away with it so far. By all rights I should test positive this time since it has only been 3 days. I have been drinking lots of fluids especially in the morning just in case. Today I had three twelve ounce mountain dews and approximately 80 ounces of water between 6:30 am and 9:30 am, the test was around 10:00. My specimen looked diluted to me when I gave it so I guess I'll find out what happens within the next few days. Either it will be positive, negative, or diluted and I'll have to retake. We'll see soon enough.
you still might test positive, but you should take some vitamin b12 to make your piss yellow. do they watch you piss in the cup, cause if not you should just get clean piss from a friend and put it in that.
No, I did not take any B12, nor did I have any close scrutiny during the testing. I pee'd for a bit into the toilet before filling up the cup, then I realized I had plenty left so I dumped it out and refilled the cup with the last in my bladder. This seems a frequent question on this forum so, I'll post the results whether good for me or bad for me.
We may have some kind of misunderstanding. I did not know I was going to get tested until my lead came and sent me to the clinic. I thought I was about 4 weeks away from another test. Yes it would have been best if I had some clean piss at body temp to dump in the cup. I did not. It seems there are a lot of testing questions on this forum and being in the situation I am in, I thought I would share what happens. Most people advise drinking lots of fluids and that seems reasonable. I will post what happens in my case. I spelled out how much fluids had drank and when I had last smoked. I am 5'11" 155 lbs if anyone wants to put that in consideration. By all rights I should be busted, the test is in the past, I am not asking what I should have done since hindsight is 20-20. Most of the posts I have read concerning this ask the question, but the conclusion is never given. I have stated what happened and will give the conclusion whether I like it or not. Wish me luck please, but it's too late to second guess.
Yea keep us posted. I've used the water method with success in the past, but i'm a light smoker.. maybe 1x a day if i'm lucky. Smoked 24 hours before my test, drank a lot of water and multivitamins. Passed ezpz.
Well, Its been a week if the lab wasn't closed for columbus day. I don't want to jinx myself, but I'm thinking I might be in the clear.

Ok, looks like it worked. I am one of those dumbasses that think mj use is a spiritual experience, so now I'm in a cunundrum. Did God spare me because there is no fault in what I do, did he give me one more chance to pull my head out of my ass, or did that have nothing to do with it and it was all due to personal actions taken such as adhering to the water method?
If there is a God, he wouldn't use his powers to help stoners pass drug tests. Are you even sure you passed? Have the results come back?
They never tell the results, except the time i failed. It would have been less than a week, usually 3 to 4 days when someone fails.
I'd probably tell you if I wasn't stoned and paranoid, but right now I'm thinking thats not such a good idea. It's a small world and if someone from HR happened to see it, it might not be that hard for them to figure out who I am.
Looks like its 50/50 at best. It worked the first time, but it is nothing to get too confident in. It didn't work the second time and I came back positive at 40NL and my profession (DOT) has a cutoff of 15NL. So its time to drink plenty of wine and find a new job.
