I believe all material should be available to everyone, and we should talk about it with our children so they are prepared by the real world, for the real world. With a loving and capable parent, it is possible to raise well adjusted and happy children, even in an imperfect world.

It just won't do to have sheltered children starting a downward slide to being unbalanced because they see something on a TV on their way to someone's house. Want to prove my point? What did you think of when I said all material should be available to all children? Did you think of all the wonderful things there are to be discovered, or did you think about children looking at human reproductions and all the fun side dishes that go with it?

Maybe if you had had a bit more variety growing up you would be better off right now.

This issue concerns me because i have a daughter, and because there is someone very close to me who has been a victim of rape.
