Finally the one year mark on my journey.

Where did you get your beads?

 

Yes they were initially backcombed, and as with most peoples stories I didn't do anything after that.

The beads I just kinda get here and there, from bazaars to bead shops so some that I make on my own. I have a bone vertebrae that I used for a while, so really I get them everywhere.

 

They are crazy! You have an awesome hair color, and I like the bead that looks like a little eye, right next to your real eye.

 

That was a gift from a friend from Turkey. It's called an evil eye and is a good luck charm.

how long are you going to grow them out for?

Well I plan to grow them until I go bald. Every male in my family is bald so I am kinda stuck. I didn't realize the right side was free of beads. I may take some out of the left then.

Jared Leto is a guy who played in a rather popular series, "My So Called Life". Rewatching as an older person I can comment on how angsty it is, but I adored the show when I was in my formative years.
