i love massachusetts, but the beach isn't the best... usually cold and grey and seaweed stankay from my experience.... but fuck, the lobstah and chowdah are amazing.
you're lucky! my room smells like my brother, it's his place and our smells haven't fully broken in yet lol
i love the ocean. most likely will never be able to live to far away from it. and i do generally go for quick swims in the winter haha
The ocean, with its waves that never die. Shiny sparkles, wannabe sun. The sand stuck between my toes, reminding me that is always summer. The wind, always singing the forgotten stories And then we melt into the water, becoming more of the people that one saw.
i'll go to the coast again soon and take some pictures this time. these aren't my pictures, but this is where we were yesterday. that's goat rock. this is some of the rocks at bodega head. the water is SO strong and crazy currents! this is bodega bay. if it looks familiar, it's cause it's where "the birds" was filmed. we saw seals sunning themselves too, it was SO cute! i found this picture of seals at goat rock, so maybe it's some of the same ones we saw yesterday!!
My room smells like a damp forest, owing to all my sweaty socks. The rest if the house smells like pot pourri.
well you need to get yourself to a coast pronto then! i've been in the mediterranean, including the aegean, tyrrhenian, and adriatic... and now the atlantic and pacific. i've also been to the bay of biscay and the straights of gibralter.
Wow, that's very cool. You're very lucky. I'm hoping that my husband will take me to the ocean for my 40th birthday in a couple of years. I've been asking for that since I've known him.
yes, get out, travel some. it's really fun! and the ocean is awesome! though if you go to the pacific coast, go down south in the summer so it's warm enough to get in, cause it's just cold as shit up here.
and full of toxic waste. from the manufacturing of the bombs that were used to decimate hiroshima and nagasaki
Maybe 30 to 40 years ago when the river caught fire in Cleveland. Things apparently have changed since then for the better. .
I must say, the most beauttttiful beach I've been to is in Bermuda. soooo lovely. I neeeeeed to travel to Cali, asap. I have two cousins in Costa Mesa and one cousin in Los Angeles - so hopefully I'll get to take a trip out there in the spring. I hear nothing but good things
