golden caps

    just got an 1/8 of what my hook up said were golden caps and they were from around the west coast california region anyone ever eaten or heard of these before

    golden cap is generalized slang for magic mushrooms, not specific to any particular species. though it may be predominantly used for one species in a particular region/city/etc.

    cubensis is most likely what they are for no other reason than they are what MOST people in the us consume, but they could be something else. there is no particular strain of cubensis called golden cap, so the phrase is really meaningless in trying to determine what the mushrooms will be like when consumed.

    I eat alot of golden cubensis. They arent that potent compared to other kinds of cubensis. I live in south texas. the climate is the same as cali. So they are about the same. They are good stuff in my book.

    There is a cubensis strain called Golden Teacher, perhaps it's a slang term reffering to them?
