I am doing merchandising, every one and a half to two weeks I move to annother store location with my team. Our company gets contracts with different stores and we change their layout, and organize...all their merchandise, essentially. It is very physical and I need to wake up at 5 am, sometimes earlier...but I am really loving what I do since I've gotten used to it. The people I work with, are fantastic. For the most part. ;)

I think most people, least the people I have known, have messed up their credit when they first got cards. Then had to fix it.

Now my credit score is 780.

I have a friend who is a regional manager for Nude skincare. She travels all around the country to different stores. Though I think she is more of a company rep.

Do you have that sort of responsibility as well? or just merchandising?

That is very good. You must have a variety of revolving trades and never use them.

The FICO scores or BEACON scores are calculated with a percentage of utilization, alongside any derogatives (how many times you were 30 days past due, 60 days past due, and 90 days past due on all of your open trades - which aren't as damaging to your credit score as consolidations, foreclosures, bankruptcies and collections), as well as the types of trades you have (it's good to have a loan, a mortgage, a couple credit cards, etc. to diversify the different kinds of credit you manage) and finally how many times your credit bureaus gets hit.

It's good to have like, a $15,000 line of credit and have the balnce at $0. Utilization of your available credit is considered highly in your credit scores, most people aren't aware that if they are continually maxing out their $500 credit card each month, it's not going to help their credit score.

I don't know why people mess it up so easily. I have friends who just spent a credit card on drugs, booze, and musical instruments, and are now paying off a whole lotta debt.

It's pretty damn easy to pay it all back on time as long as you don't spend it. Just buy what you would usually buy and then just pay it off with money you earn.

For now, I am pretty much the bottom of the corporate ladder. I dont know if I would want to move up since I like the job as it is now, and it will put me through school.

Lets see, I have 4 credit cards but only use one of them that has the highest limit. I have paid off several car loans. I have student loans

There is probably more but I would need to pull out my last credit report and take a look

I just spent a bit of money moving, and the television show I was on got canceled, so everyone around here is running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

Its even worse since Wells just upped their APR for most people with the beginning of this economic downward spiral about three or four weeks ago.

I REALLY fucking I hope I just get on something so i can pay these off.

I usually just spend between 20-45% of my credit and pay it off every month and its given me a really good credit score, and I have even been late a few times, but NEVER more than a week or two and I have ALWAYS paid it back in full.

It really does seem strange to me that people just blow credit on stupid shit... But I totally understand if your fucking poor and cant wait until the next check comes.

I guess you learned your lesson.

I used my cards to buy food and some basic bathroom/kitchen stuff.

I haven't worked in a couple of weeks though since the whole industry is so sluggish... i hope things pick up around here.

I think all industry is pretty sluggish right now bro

And yeah well, by bullshit I mean a bunch of consumable items that are necessary for living, but obviously not much of an investment

Its fine the car is gone though, I miss it but that thing was ridiculous to drive daily on the street
