just wondered if theres anything i can do to help my fringe dread...i know to be paitent but it just doesnt want to dread...its not a big fringe, just little section bits at the start of my hair ...it seems whenever they try to knot up..ill go outside and the air blowing on my face will undo them or something like that :S...are they maybe not ment to lock up?

oh, they'll lock up eventually. it takes them a while, especially on the top of the head i've found. underneath my hair it locks up crazy fast, lol.

if it REALLY bugs you you can just kind of rub it with your fingers until it turns into a knotty little ball, and then GENTLY tuck it under the roots of the nearest dread. i do that sometimes when they're really getting on my nerves, but most of the time i just let it go. when it starts to get REALLY messy i do a little "cleanup" and then i leave it again. :)

eh, most of the time i kinda like the wild crazy hairs all out of place thing i've got going on. it gets really bad every couple months, i tuck a few things in, wrap a few dreads up, and let it go for a while again. :)
