first bong

man, its said that ive been smoking for like 6 months and never had a bong, but today that changed. Before work my friend had a nice glass bong, so we smoked out of it. Man oh man i got pretty fucking high. I love bongs.

 

Thats awesome bongs are the shit. Your tellin me you never made any homeade bongs? Ive only smoked out one one glass bong, didnt get very good hits becuase i was hitting it wrong, but thats the only time for me.

I made a bong, used it once but didn't like it because it was badly made. So for a long time after that, I thought bongs sucked. Then I realized how shitty it was (not enough water, for one thing, cuz I put the carb too low), and I made a new one. I used it for smokin Salvia and it worked great, can't wait till I can smoke weed again. I bet this job I applied to won't even drug test me (or won't hire me, haha) and it will all be for nothing. I hate job hunting.

 

What about after you get the job, can you still smoke or do they do monthy tests or something? Ive always wondered if places do that, I wouldnt know im 15.

Ya it was about 6 months after i started that i went out and got myself a bong which also happened to be the first one i smoked out of. Now I don't smoke out of anything else but that when i'm at home.

redbarcheta most places don't test at all and if they do it is usually just when they hire you. Testing costs $$. Course some jobs will test periodically but prolly not your average minimum wage job.

 

If they do monthly tests at a fruit market, they have some fucked up priorities, haha. Also, I'll quit (or not take the job), because fuck that.

 

yah man any homemade item is gonna be crap compared to real glass peice.

but you really only know that truth when you try out a real glass for yourself.

 

i disagree. homemade bongs ive found are effective in their genericness. plastic bottles are light, they dont break, they hold a decent amount of water, and theyre customisable.

ive tried from proper bong and homemade bongs and ive had home made bongs that have pulled the best.

im not, but im refuting the statement that home made bongs are shit. im no saying that home made bongs are the best.

 

of course, if you make shit bongs then your home made bongs will be shit.

 

being in university for a couple of years i've seen my share of homemade bongs. some pretty crafty, some crap, and some decent..BUT! none have ever compared to a glass bong.

Look, I'm all for quality, but my homemade bong works just fine. Never used (or seen) a real manufactured one, but are they *really* that much worse? What are the lacking qualities in the homemade ones that suck so much? Are we talking about a small difference that you think makes some big difference, or what? I mean, what is so complex about a tube or two, a bottle, and a bowl that is so hard to construct that homemade bongs are that bad? I say, as long as it's sealed and filters through the water decently, it works.

 

Unless they are made right. I have a bong that me and my friends made out of a grey goose bottle, and it has a glass slider. It gives perfect white cloud hits and is absolutely the best made bong I have ever skoked out of.
