A Hero of Our Time

    I'm reading Lermontov's "A Hero of Our Time" (excellent book if you like literature from that era), and I identify way too much with the mane character. That is, the eternally-bored-with-life part, not the destroy-others-emotions-for-my-pleasure part

    Now that I reread this post I wonder if anyone will even know what I'm talking about lol

    Yea Pechorin's a cool character...funner than some of the other Byronic guys cause he's always willingly causing such a mess for himself. That part of the book "the Fatalist" which is last I guess, was what really made it an insane novel.
