Hey, Canada is looking good to many people due to the financial crisis. As a Canadian I can say it is a really great place. There are many great places. I just got back from New Zealand. Loved it there.

I've had a thing for Canada since I was about 13. I met a guy from Ontario who was staying in the US with a friend on a visit. He was pure awesomeness.... made me want to move to Canada. :D

heh, I had no idea about this until I met these two Croatian Canadian girls. it was weird to hear someone else speak perfect English as well as another language.

in any event, I totally agree with bird's statement. almost all the Canadians I've met have been awesome. then again, I could say the same thing about the Americans I've met, though I've met more douchebag Americans than Canadian ones...

I have thought many times about the next time that I visit Europe. When I do, I will sew a Canadian flag on my backpack and brush up on my Canadian facts. I am sure I would be treated like gold. How did they get so good? Still cold there though.

"canada is like america's attic. every couple of years you go up there and look around and say, 'wow! look at all the crap i didn't know was up here!'"

nah, i think canada's sweet, and so do most americans i know.

the only things that suck are the winters and the bulk of their beer (of course, most american macrobrews suck, too, but the craft beer movement is getting more and more widespread....fewer americans are drinking shitty beer that ever before, but its still widespread and commonplace. but most canadian beer sucks, except for unibroue :))
