I would just like to know how much most people need to take to get into all this bs. Ive had a half tab once and a full tab once, and next time its gonna be 2, and so on until I discover whether or not it is all bullshit. When do you guys think the... "magic light" will come on and I can stop looking for all this shit and start just having a good time?

All this "bs" is not about having a "good time", its about discovery.
If you want a good time i suggest taking anything from 1-4 tabs. If you want to force an ego death then take 8+ tabs depending on the strength. You could also die on just one tab if you are ready.

Believe me it isnt bull shit.

i would love to experience all this stuff also but dont think i would ever have enough balls to take 3 maybe 4+ tabs haha

  4. Excellent reply.

And this is why all this "bs" isn't happening to you..

I know people who have taken large doses (4+) and never understood the beauty, I understood it on just 1 my first time.

It all depends on the mind taking it...or in other words, if you are ready.

    The answer is within yourself..

    Peace

  5. As for a reply you're more interested in reading, I say take 2 tabs, and have a look in the mirror...

I've looked in the mirror every time so far, just gets more interesting :D. I knew I was going to get these kinds of responses, so I suppose all I can say is that until frther experimentation 9soon!), LSD is not spiritual for me. As for not having a good time, i do ahve a good time, I just felt liek throwing it in. I do wonder though, does someone who doesn't use a psychedelic for exploration "bs" get looked down upon in this type of community?

  7. No, they don't get looked down upon. Hell, I wish I wasn't more prone to such exploration....it's without a doubt, bitter-sweet.

As for you not falling as easily down the rabbit hole, well, that just says your mind is in other places....positive ones, I hope..

Peace, and when in doubt, just look to the light, it saved me too many of times...

Some people here would say it should only be used as a spiritual tool.
    I see both sides though.
I started out just doing it for fun with friends then taking it in clubs and raves and shit. Eventually when i was starting to take it more often i could see the potential it has as a tool of self discovery, though i am hesitant to say it is spiritual for me.

It is extremely interesting to jump in and see what happens though. A large dose on your own could change your life.

it doesnt matter what you call it - the point is that a strong LSD experience will necessarily show you things that you never had concieved of before, and will probably force at least one assumption of yours out the window. Whether you settle back down and call it 'spiritual' or 'educational' or just 'meaningful' is up to you. Just like every experience in life, we all take our own meaning from it. But in the same way that going to prison or going to war or spending a week on a mountain will force you to confront things that you would not normally have confronted, LSD pushes thoughts into your mind that you cannot ignore.
It might all just be more fun for you though. Just like everything in life, there are some people who take nothing seriously, and there are others who take everything seriously. Of those, ther are the ones who take nothing seriously but respect serious things, and there are those who take everything seriously and can infact only accept that which agrees with their paradigm.

In the end, it should be fun, and it should be a learning experience. Sort of how pre-school should be to a child.

Lol unfortunately some people do get mocked for not taking the drug as "seriously" as they apparently do. Most people here would probably just see you as another "Brotha" no matter what you do ;)

And LSD if anything can be the best of good times for a long time, so expect no less but some people claim to experience "rocky edges" throughout the deeper/harder trips. If one blotter didn't do the trick then I'd probably take about 3-5 if I were you.

Taking more LSD will not guarantee that the magic light will be coming on.

A psychedelic trip depends greatly on set and setting.

For me, it wasn't until I was older and running with a different crowd. To this day I still don't know whether it was because of my age at the time (22-23), because the research I was doing at the time (reading Timothy Leary and ram das) or my new somewhat enlightened and somewhat confused friends. The most likely answer is that it all played a part.

All that aside, with my experience I have found that you need at least 3 to 5 hits for a good life changing experience.

Just the fact that you're looking for a magic light to turn on means that it will turn on at some point so all you have to do is be patient and keep looking. After that light turns on start looking for an upgraded version.

always the most beautiful things from ya bill

I like to think of it the same way as you put it
and isnt it funny that a good amount of the time your are capacitated to that of a child whilst enjoyin :D

eventually that wears though and you have found the things you need to know an more than you necessarily were looking for

it was spiritual for me after my second trip. i don't really know what to say. ive seen people who have taken ludicrous amounts of psychadelics and never seen the spiritual side of it, while at the same time ive known people who have dosed once and reached a spiritual level that is very rare in our western society.

i guess that, when your ready, it will happen. but until then increasing the dose isn't going to help much. the light will find you.

glad to see your mind is in the right place though :peace:. the first thing you should know is that a little patience never did any harm. don't rush things.

you could liken it to meditation. whenever you meditate with a preconcieved goal the session will be entirely alot less meaningful than if you had no goal in mind.

I still get much more spiritual experience from mushrooms than I ever have from LSD. It's not that LSD experience isnt spiritual for me, but it's not the same as what other people get out of it. One thing I've found though, is that if you push yourself to discover something during a heavy psychedelic trip, it's very easy to hurt yourself. The deepest realizations bring with them very powerful forms of pain, usually feelings of empathy or from a difficulty in dettaching. So be careful, your best bet is to have no ideas or expectations and take whatever comes to you for what it is.
