Okay, fine. I'm only fourteen so I know people might not wanna listen because everyone assumes people my age are "naive" but here it goes:

I am fucking FED UP with the ignorance in my country. I am in America, in a small suburb in New York and you would not BELIEVE that stupidity that goes on here. There's too many small-minded people in the world. And what can one little fourteen year old girl do? My parents say that I'm a "dreamer", that the world will never be in peace. That the big, bad people will always win. But accepting that as the only reality we'll ever know is just going to hurt us even more! All of you "intellectuals" and "hippies" are our only hope. We need to band together to make a difference. Alone, we can't do shit. We're in the middle of a senseless war, our economy is going down the drain and people are actually trying to mix religion with government, plus our earth is melting and nobody else seems to give half a shit. I've talked to some wonderful people on these hipforums, but nothing will ever change if we just bitch about it all day. We need to take action and start a revolution. Enough with all the bullshit and ignorance in the world! I can make a list of things today that just make my blood poil:

1. The apathy people have about helping the environment. Seriously, people is it that hard to buy eco-friendly products, recycle your trash and not buy a gas-guzzling car?

2. These crazy Evangelical Christian cults that want to actually put their insane religion in the government. They want to convert everybody! If you haven't seen it, there's a documentary called "Jesus Camp" that explains it all.

3. People are too uptight. At least in America. People freak out about sex or curse words or drugs. Loosen up! I think marijuana and certain other drugs should be legalized for recreational use. People can do whatever they want with their body even if it might kill them. It's their right.

4. Sarah Palin, the candidate for VP wants to overturn Roe vs. Wade and make abortion illegal in all cases including rape and incest. The only exception is if the mother's life is at risk. Woman have not been fighting all these years to have it all messed up.

5. War. It's a terrible, awful thing. Why do we still have them? How does blowing people up (sometimes innocent people) solve anything? It just pissed people off even more. Where's the love?

6. Animal rights. I love animals, though I am a meat-eater. I think it's okay to eat meat but shooting animals for sport is disgusting and cruel. It should not be tolerated.

And so many other things, that just make me so frustrated. Why can't we all live in peace with eachother? Why all the hatred and destruction?

Lol, I know it's dramatic and a bit silly but I mean it. I'm very passionate about this. Back in the 60's, maybe we didn't exactly accomplish much by protesting but we need to try something else, try again. I don't think people realize how angry we should be. We should be fucking pissed!

 

I see, you are really figuring out something. There is really much problems in the world...

I think when you get little bit older your friends get also, and you will start finding people who are ready to do something, and then you start doing it!

I think, I was somehow in that position when I was your age, now 4 years later, I am talking about politics with my friend in msn... Also I am going to go voteing!

 

Yeah, I'm actually a home-schooler so I have a lot of time to get upset about these things. Thankfully, I might be going to college early and people are always telling me that I will LOVE college because that's when kids start talking about real issues and actually growing up. My friends are into current events and helping the world but not really as much as me. I'm super-passionate, and people often think I'm silly for feeling so much about this stuff. But, once I'm older I'm sure it'll be better, I just gotta be more optimistic, but sometimes I feel like I'm losing faith in humanity.

 

The answer here is simple;

We must experience hell, before we can appreciate heaven.
