So this punk rocker, Gorki Aguila, in Cuba isn't exacally warm and fuzzy to his goverment. He ended up being fined about $28 for singing some songs. He could have been charged with the terrible crime of social dangerousness, which would have had him imprisoned for four years.

What is the best punishment for those who say bad things about their goverment?

people should not be silenced for dissenting views whatsoever. protesting views brings new and fresh ideas to society and can contribute to its overall growth and advancement. to stifle that would to allow society to become stagnant and just anger people until a revolution is inevitable. so its best to hear out all views no matter how dissenting. but if there were to be a best punishment it would involve total brain washing. maybe propaganda mind control type things in conjunction with physical torture. something similar to Room 1o1 from the book 1984. to make the people actually go to ur side in the end instead of just silencing them or killing them.
