Would he and Palin know if they were tested? I am not sure. Perhaps they'd refuse to answer the questions!

Okay. So y'all don't want our protection?

    i'm down with that.

Strike Canada from our supposed ally's list and let's see how long we can have a stare down ~ Awwww... You blinked when that atomic bomb struck your home soil. Too bad y'all don't allow your citizens to own guns ~ 'cuz the invaders? Yeah. They do.

    AND

    they know you don't!

Hey, man ~ good luck with that! Be sure to tell everyone else that it was your vote that turned the tide, and put those uppity Americans in their place.

    We are in this,

    TOGETHER.

Whether y'all like it or not.

And, hey, our borders seem to be completely open ~ come have your children here, for FREE, with the added benefit of dual citizenship!

I wish I had the crystal ball they had. I would use it for good an not evil, I promise. The truth is all presidents are tested in one way or another. For anyone to claim that they will or will not be tested is ridiculous. If there are plans in place to attack the US again, it doesn't matter who is in office. Do you really think terrorist are more afraid of McCain than they are of anyone else? Do you really think they are going to say to themselves "oh no McCain is in office now, we are too scared to do anything, let's just run and hide away until some pansy liberal takes office again".

ok here's the context: McCain was responding to the out of context remark of Joe Biden that "Obama would be tested".

There's your context. Watch the video, and tell me how i'm misrepresenting that. Then, tell me why John McCain would repeat my "misrepresentation" on the stump and reinforce it for everyone.

Then, explain to me how that is not a clarification of the new McCain ad implying we can avoid attack by voting McCain.

I'm not twisting his words to mean something else. That's the actual message coming out of the McCain camp. It's what they want to say.

I would have to agree with conservative commentator Christopher Hitchens that McCain is showing signs of senility.

Hitchens is a lifelong liberal who became a single issue hawk after 9/11. He was never a conservative, and now has somewhat reluctantly supported Obama.

Biden's point was that once elected, Obama would be tested, and would need the help of advisors, and the american populace. No one can do it alone.

McCain's stated point, clarified and reinforced, is that he would be immune to testing as president. We simply won't be attacked if McCain is president.

Take them at their word, according to what they intended to say. One gave a nuanced warning that the election will not be the end of our troubles even if he wins. The other claims we will be fine as long as we elect him. Which claim seems like "straight talk" to you? Which one is blowing sunshine up your ass?

And Hitchens is not a lifelong liberal. He is a free market neocon. He was hired by the catholic church to be devil's advocate against mother theresa, for crying out loud.

    You are twisting things.

Personally, I think terrorist would test Obama immediately and think twice about fucking with McCain.

And this is not scare tactics, it's just my opinion of what reality is like in America post 9-11 .

The terrorist will strike again...when America get soft.

Obama is waving the white flag already.

    America needs to stay strong.

John McCain will keep us safe.

Nothing is guaranteed, I know, but Obama isn't the way to go.

I'll take my chances will John McCain.

I don't feel safe or trust Barak Obama.

wow, you actually believe that. the truth may lie somewhere past the tip of your own nose, and the world does not conform to our narratives.

    absolutely ridiculous.

Naïve hope is thinking one man can save us from danger. Now THAT is meaningless.

    Excusez-moi?

The USA apparently already struck us down from your ally list years ago when we said we didn't want to help you out in the Iraq invasion.

No offense, but we don't need your protection. Just your co-operation.

But I'm curious, what makes you think we don't let our citizens own guns? There are more gun owners per capita in Canada than there are in the US of A. Are you just talkin' dust?

I'd love to come to your country and have children if someone else pays for it. Praise Allah our Canadian national health care system that extends itself for me to do that. Awwww.

Yes. He was a Trotskyest and he remains in his own words, a democratic socialist.

He was not paid by the catholic church. That's insane.

devils advocate against? Those words don't even make sense together.
