well i often came across some questions like: WHAT IS A HIPPIE? Protest, Long Hair, Liberal...i guess this all are true, but what ABOUT LOVE... in my opinion, hippie is about being HUMAN BEING, and deep down the thing that connect us all is that little thing called "love"... these days love is more and more absent... look around you! DO YOU SEE IT??? well sometimes its a little thing that remind us that exist but is AT BRINK OF EXTINCTION... Now come on people without Love we would become bunch of robots that follow deadlines... when was the last time someone has offered you a "FREE" HUG, last time a stranger has told you something nice, last time you`ve seen a true love... its not up to them its up to us to give our love to people...how else could 500000 people in Woodstock live for three days without starting shooting each other. all im trying to say is that we have forgotten to be human, to be good people, and to love...but only one love is one TRUE SPECIAL that you share just with one person in the whole world... in the words of Jefferson Airplane: "FIND SOMEONE TO LOVE"... dont foget to love people... dont forget to be human... peace and love...
Naw it's still there. You just have to look for it today instead of it finding you, it seems you have to find it. But love is all around if you find the right people. Peace
The hard thing is ...is that most people today get Love and Sex mixed up...and they really have nothing to do with each other. The old ones know what love is.
yeah but you would agree that SEX AND LOVE is the ultimate spiritual experience... but i agree that thay do mix them up a lot...
I see lots of love, look better, different or in other places. Perhaps you're right in the way that I sometimes feel like some humans are better at loving than some of the hippie folks nowadays.
