Ya I play some bass. It starting to get really exciting now that im not just fumbling over the frets trying to get a note out. Im a long ways from playing anything solid from tool, but ill get there some day! How long have you been playing hush?

    Four or five years.
I've been very interested in acoustic guitar as of recent though.

    So you like Tool?

Yea tool has given me quite a few mind orgasms over the years. Its just an incredible collaboration of musicians with great messages. I listen to alot of music besides prog rock. What music do you like to play on the bass?

Bass is great fun. I'm more of a guitarist but I love picking up the bass for a jam every now and then

As do I a lot of the time.

J-nature... I tend to play more lengthy spaced out rhythmic lines with a good bit of effects. Though the band I've been playing with recently, I stick to more standard type playing, a good bit of walking.

Oh, and Justin Chancellor is certainly one of bassist idols.

The thing is; The fact that you can play guitar doesnt really mean you can play bass. :p

You know Jimmy Page started out playing Bass for the Yardbirds,
And Jimi Hendrix's Bass player Noel Redding, was actually a guitar player...
    i'm just saying,

I play guitar mostly, i am in a couple of bands and play bass in one of 'm.
and during Jam sessions i get a lot of props for my bass playing, but i just tell 'm it's John Entwistle...
I fact, I bought my bassguitar the day after seeing this...

A must watch for any musician!

strap yourself in for this one:cool:
