so i really want my nose pierced again.

i've had it pierced twice and both times a little bump grew from the hole. i had to take the piercing out both times for it to go away.

what the fuck is that? does anybody know? and does anybody know how to prevent it and/or get rid of it?

    It's a keloid.

You can't really get rid of 'em. Where'd you get it done at? If you did it yrself with like, a sewing needle or a piercing gun, then that's probably why it fucked up.

Go get it professionally done and they can probably pierce over it and take out most of the keloid. Hell, I dunno. I've always been lucky enough, even with my dumb early teen piercings, to not get 'em.

thing is, both times it was done professionally. perhaps i should try a different shop, but i'm almost positive that the guys at hot rods know what they are doing. so i don't know.

the bump isn't there now, i mean it went away after i took out the jewelry and shit healed. it just appears when it's pierced.

perhaps it's just my skin and that's how it deals with foreign objects puncturing my face. i was always more of a tattoo kind of chick anyways.

I wouldnt risk getting it pierced again. No matter who you go to the chances are highly likely that the keloid will come back worse and you'll need surgery.
