:cheers2: But then again, I always say that anyone who disagrees with me should be lined up and shot, so it's kind of like, I hate/love everyone. I dont know it's confusing. Cant have the Gospel of Christ without the massive killings in Revelations immediatley afterwards :cheers2:
Hmm , I'm into cryogenic freezing. And magic , or to be more accurare slightly scared of psychic powers. And extremely superstitious.Agree with some of the bible. but think its twisted by dickheads who never spoke to Jesus or God or whoever its meant to be. I think athiests are bellends. I'm like a semi agnostic who thinks science will eventually give us most answers.Like afterlives/timetravel /resurrection and shit. Who thinks "God " or whoever it is , made a bit of a fuckup and now regrets it. What a deranged posting from me.
I think this gets to the heart of the definition. I think it's from the Greek agnostos, meaning "unknowable." It seems like technically, you can still believe in, say, Christian doctrine and be agnostic. You can believe in it, but not say it is provable or a fact. To me that seems like a healthy way to look at things. I believe in something, but there's no way of knowing it. I do find two definitions: a. One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God. b. One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism. So, I guess I'm being selective choosing the first one....but that's the one I like....except I'd replace God with deities...or perhaps what they call the "invisible world" in West African Religious studies....or perhaps the metaphysical world. There's a lot of stuff that can't be proven systematically, that people believe in other than God, so I find the definition limited. Am I agnostic.....well, I haven't found any proof either way on anything metaphysical yet. It also seems like a lot more fun to be able to believe what you want than have someone tell you that you have to believe something specific because it's a fact.
Put it this way, if you have any fear of God, your an idiot. If you believe there is no God period, your an idiot. Wamp wamp, what it do.
I dunno I think Athiests( which I aint) can be god fearing too- but they see it as superstition. When my cat died , I looked up at the sky and said the word cxxx. Which was a bit bizarre , bearing in mind , I suppose I was angry that he *might* have ceased to exist. I believe in life after death , moral codes , higher forces and stuff. But I cant handle some of the zealous "my God's better than yours stuff".
i'm definitely a theist (a thiest, not athiest) but i am not religious. the idea someone posited earlier suggesting agnostics and atheists have no reason to treat each other well is flat out lunacy. i know it wasn't that poster's professed belief, but the idea is stupid beyond all belief regardless:cheers2:
cool beans, jaitaiyai hey whats up in your signature? a pretty feeling robot pirate or what? it confuses and therefore ANGERS me! :cuss:
-cyber high five- Yeah I probably know most about it through experience, but I probably know more about Christianity on the whole what with the whole R.E thing.
wait, bad joke. i just realized CTRL ALT DEL hasn't caused automatic reboots for years now. you might not have ever seen it, in fact, for all i know.... *sigh* used to be no matter how frozen your computer was, you could almost always count on those keys restarting your computer without a hitch automatically. now it pulls up a lame menu, and does no good if your computer is frozen
At school it restarted my computer! That sucked because I hadnt saved my work. The servers were down. I couldnt recover my work. And I have half an hours worth of pictures for Art research. All because Publisher decided to call it quits. Uh huh and I got the joke as my friend has a comic called Alt F4. He explained it to me. And Ive never seen it.
it was bad enough once windows started up all on its own without you typing in the command to start windows from DOS. then they go and take away one of the most useful commands for a computer... then they take away DOS completely. and my computer doesnt even make cool sounds when i get online anymore!! once windows started running on its own without being told to, i essentially figured that computers were smarter than i was, and it was foolish to try and keep up
the only thing i think on this subject is that there is a higher power, and i do believe that there is a great spirit that guides us/ helps us along the way.
I want a Mac. Im not going to get one, and I can live with that. But I want one. My computer has cool mouse things. It has a Drum. Pen in hand. Hand. metronome. and more..
