Yeah, no problem, tabs will do? These are 3 three compositions by the way. C5(9) G5(9) E5(9,13) E|-----|-----|-----| B|-----|-----|-----| G|--7--|-----|--6--| D|--5--|--7--|--4--| A bit streched, but it's the same pattern reapeated. here's a long solemn circle of minors Gm (g-d-Bb) Dm (f-d-a) Am Em Dm Gm(flat5) (Bb-g-c#) Cm (Eb-g-c) Gm Cm ( c-g-Eb) Gm (Bb-g-d) Dm Am Em Dm Gm (Bb-g-d) Am7 Dm so this song goes on and on , and when the time comes you want to resolve it - the actual tonal center of it is D minor - it spirals to there . it will spin in all time .
ya! i took this one home and tried it out . it sounds medieval - black death . so i tuned the low E to D (dropped D tuning) and transposed our progression into Dm . Dm F A Gm F Dm then i could order the bass line tones like this : d f a Bb f d and play the chords as simple triads with essentially droning high and mid tones Dm F ..A .....Gm...F ....... Dm a ..a ..a .....a g ..a g a g...a d ..d ..e .....d .....d ....c....d d ..f ...a .....Bb .....f .........d thanks for the fun
am, f, c, g. also, g,c, g, d and then g, c, d g for more upbeat and d hammering on the 9th for 4 measures and c then g
That's odd man, I just wrote a new progression that's pretty much that... Only I play it | G |Am | F | C |...then the bridge is: (4/4) |C-->Cmaj7| G | |Emaj7-->E| Am | Oh, I'm using a kapo on the 3rd fret by the way...and in between the bridge and main progression I finger pick on high e/b. (Pick G, B, C, E (15th fret)) ---hammer on b 3rd fret (D), then hammer on G (on high e)...play open high e then slide into a hammer on/pull off B and C as well.
C-E7-Am-F-F-Fm-C-G7 Keep it simple, rockin' it old school, strum it with all your soul, and sing it hard. namaste
I like that man....I was messing around with it and threw in a bridge between 3 separate full measures of that. Try going from that G7 to a Am to an F then to a drawn out C to end it.
Came up with a little something last night.... D-Dmaj7-D7-D-Dmaj7-D7-G I also like too add this in after or before depending on how I feel: D-Dmaj7-D7-Asus4(add9)-Am11 (Try finger picking the Asus4(add9) and Am11. Also try to slide from the Am11 to the Asus4(add9). Bridge: Em-A-D Em-A-D-D7-Em-A (Play much slower here) D-D/C#-D/B-D/A-G-Asus4 Rinse and repeat main progression.
