Censorship in the media/world

Ive been at work all week and now i have a day to write a 5 page paper on this since they actually had alot of info at the library.. Im stoned too so this seems somewhat difficult since i didnt do any research. If anyone could help me out on good sources or previous articles on the web on this it would be greatly appreciated!

 

Is there any particular reason you want web based info over the info you found at the library?

 

Im starting it tonight but i dont have the library stuff yet, and i thought you guys would have some good info

I might add that this article is racist in nature, but the facts of ownership, etc are a matter of public record. This public information has been stated on many websites but this is the first one that I came across.

WHY THE HELL POST SOMTHING THAT IS RACIST?

 

Because racism is quite real, my friend.

 

I know it is.
But posting something about media bias with bias especially racist bias is just odd.

His own admission: I might add that this article is racist.

Basicaly it looks like it is saying there is a bias towards ethnic people and jews run everything. But, read it for yourself, i suppose. It is not difficult to spot the racist tone.

 

I did read it for myself, and I did pick up on racial overtones.


I think that Immortal Technique put it best.

It isn't race against race anymore, but rich people against poor people.


The rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer.

You don't see anything wrong with that?

 

Then the logical question would be: Why ask?

Was not commenting on that point - that is not about censorship in the media/word - as far as I aware.

 

But, the media is owned by rich people, and it purports their views.


So, it is the point.

 

Not quite that simple.
Even though "rich people" do own vast swathes of the Media - especially print media, they still have to reflect the opinions of their readers.
Also the majority if not all have "The voice of the paper" and the voice of individual commentators.
Take a brief a look at a few of the links: http://www.world-newspapers.com/uk.html then tell me they are not going to have every political bias that most of us have ourselves.

News on UK TV is produced by either ITN BBC or SKY News which aside from SKY is not owned by rich people. They all obviously still have bias.

Even Indy news has bias.

Bias everywhere - lol.
