    Hi,
I have a question for all you and I would like some opinions on it if that's possible...
So I had a fight with my girlfriend 2 days ago,but because fights were a usual thing the last 3 weeks I got too mad and I stopped talking to her for the past 2 days hoping that we'll both calm down and when we talk again soon everything will be a bit better.
She sends me text messages every 3-4 hours asking me to call her though.
Should I break my silence or keep it for a bit longer??
Does it make any good??Because Im sick of fighting for pointless stuff!
    thanks!
    Peace...

silence tends to amplify, rather than disperse.

I've got to agree with maryjohn. After 2 days, you guys should be calm enough to chat. Give her a ring, and talk things out.

If you're tired of fighting, I'd call her. If she's texting you, she WANTS to talk to you... it sounds like she's afraid of calling you first but is TRYING to contact you all the same.

Two days should be long enough to be able to talk civilly to each other.
    Good luck!
    love,
    mom

while it is sometimes advisable to spend some time apart in order to calm down, it's not good to let the silence last too long. And if you're sick of fighting over pointless stuff, then perhaps the two of you need to learn how to communicate better with each other.

I'd call her, because you don't want to push her away, especially if you have strong feelings for her. By not responding, you're sending her the message that you don't care, which is the wrong way to go for sure.
