next time i'll get 3 boxes... the tips aren't as well colored as i'd like, because i ran out, and i used two whole boxes, lol! dreads soak up the dye like crazy!
haha, nice, id always wondered how much dye i woulda had to use on mine, but then i didnt dye 'em. it looks really nice!
thanks! yeah, it takes a LOT! i'd put it on, and it'd look all nice and goopy. 3 minutes later when i'd finish with another section, the first section would be bone dry again. dreads are little sponges.
I used 5 boxes of dye last time and I still ended up with with patches of un-dyed dreads. I think I'll give up on dying my dreads.

Love it! and i'll take note that i'll prb need a couple, or a few boxes when i dye mine. What effect does dying dreads have on them locking?? I heard that it helps.
i noticed them congoing a lot lately, i think partly cause i dyed them. they're like little velcro strips all over my head right now, lol! i didn't use the conditioner, of course. but the hair actually feels better now than it did before. stronger and such.
