McCain's sun is not particularly powerful in his chart. It is not exactly happy in Virgo, and it's only major aspect is a trine to Uranus in the seventh house. He is a bit unstable, or if you will,"a maverick". Don't underestimate trans-personal planet t-squares. They work strongly. House positions are important. An angular Pluto opposed an angular moon is very important in delineation.
Not according to the charts I have examined through the Astrodatabank's program. Virgo Suns are just fine, although they may have a bit of a modest self-image. Like the rest of the earth signs, it is very dependable, logical, consistent and honest. I consider his Sun to be square to Jupiter (Liz Greene 10 deg orb), and Jupiter is a good influence even in square. It brings traditional values and stabilizes the personality. Those delineations you have suggested do not work in many charts I have seen, that's why I don't use them. I may have given Pluto more consideration if it was actually conjunct the MC, which it is not.
The Tarot has already shown me long ago that Obama will take it, but he will not advance America in his presidency. The Page of Swords which was included in the reading is associated with and represents the extreme of Gemini (O's moon) - childishness, immaturity and self-absorption.
nature vs. nurture... i love astrology...but i mean come on guys, there is no way you could base it on that. we need a revolution. go ron paul!
Well I knew Bush was a disaster waiting to happen and was pushing for every democratic opponent of his. He had this card http://www.learntarot.com/bigjpgs/swords10.jpg JMT I've asked what will O bring to the presidency and used a trusty open 3 card spread - Page of Swords, Queen of Pentacles, Two of Swords. None of these are promising by my experience, but that may be based somewhat on problematic economic factors (Queen of Pentacles, which btw associates with Taurus).
I just had to respond to this info, taurusNate. I know a bit about Tarot, and I do Totally Agee that the Page of Swords plus the 2 of Swords (for just the open 3 card spread) isn't a particularly good boding... have you cut the cards any more on this? Just curious. I still hope Obama wins.:cheers2:
Not yet, Lynnbrown. I'm waiting for confirmation for his presidency before I make a more in-depth examination....
