    THE SCAM IS OUT THERE, FOR EVERYONE TO SEE:

    Mr. Barack Hussein Obama for President??? i don't think so, and this is why:

    1) No valid credentials to even RUN for prez;
    2) No firm stances on any of the issues ~
    i draw your attention to his policies re: abortion and taxes, which have changed SUBSTANTIALLY since he's been campaigning in the poor, religious states;
    3) No more protection for his RACIST wife ~
    see http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0208/8642.html and read the whole article, which ties her Thesis to her remarks, i.e. 'For the first time, I am proud...' blah, blah, blah
    4) He has tipped his hand on numerous occassions, re: his true ideologies ~
    e. g. Joe the Plumber;
    5) His 'knack' for always saying the 'right' thing has been exposed ~ he'll promise anything, because he has no intention of making good on any of it ~
    abortion / taxes;
    6) His lack of ability to get a security clearance(!) ~
    he couldn't join ANY of the armed forces of our country;
    7) His sordid past has been paraded through the streets ~
    his associations and friendships with radicals,
    his choice to make his primary residence in Chicago, rather than the State Capitol, so that he could maintain relationships with all the other *cough*cough* "politicians" that operate there,
    his mentors being shown to be radical ideologists,
    on & on the sordid past stuff goes.

    And here's the question ~ why are you Obaminites absolutely REFUSING to allow yourselves to think that any of this could be true???

    You must realize how biased the news has been, pro-Obama. If ANY of these things had come out about McCain or Palin, complete investigations would have been started, and we would have seen some killer exposes! Instead, the news is feeding folks more and more contrived excuses over all the accusations.

    i'm not trying to say i'm perfect (no nail holes! ;) ), but i've been trying to get a handle on BOTH sides of the big pic, and it's made me a much better informed person. Believe it or not, i started out for Obama; however, there was, and is, just TOO much hiding of facts, blatant lying, and favoritism going on, there.

    And here's what i really don't get ~ the only thing the repubs on these boards have been saying to y'all ~ even to the point of BEGGING ~ is that you just look at all of the facts. Listen to whatever investigative reports you can find ~ bearing in mind that they are backed up with facts, to protect whomever from being sued.

    Honestly, when it's the liberals who are the close-minded, got the blinders on, follower/sheep, and the conservatives who are on the side of fairness and balance, well

    Cripes! Those folks 'down under' must be enjoying quite the little vacation from the intense, searing fires!!! ;)

    I'm very much looking forward to seeing Mr Barack Hussein Obama elected president and so is most of the rest of the world. He's far from perfect, and far less a radical than I'd like him to be, but he really may be the best hope in a generation to restore American credibility in the eyes of the world outside. Ironically the best hope of the US projecting any kind of serious influence beyond its own borders rests with the man you're so eager to smear with such ridiculous quasi-racist nonsense and Sean Hannity scaremongering....

    Considering the quickness with which you two replied, i rest my case.

    which is not to say that i wouldn't like to discuss this with other folks, but i'd like to debate with INFORMED folks, who can actually make comparrisons, rather than just post insulting, ridiculous and ignorant comments and excuses.

    NEXT?!

    I have a first class degree in politics from Cambridge, stop wasting time by trying to play the ignorance card. If you disagree with my opinions, challenge them. If you don't want to have your own opinions challenged, don't post them....

    Okay, Peace-Phoenix. Let's start with you listing all the really good things that McCain is proposing.

    Unfortunately, i won't be able to do the same, because it would appear that Obama's proposed policies change wherever he stops to campaign.

    But, anyway, let's hear you present both sides. i mean, that CAMBRIDGE DEGREE should serve you well in getting everything into perspective for all of us lesser folks.

    maybe when Barack Hussein Obama is president, Fyrenza will be able to afford that much needed mental health care.

    Can't believe i broke down and read this crap. Isn't it odd when Republicans start sounding like the Khmer Rouge?

    HANG THE INTELLECTUALS FROM A TREE! GIT THEM TOOTHY ELITISTS!

    MaryJohn? Not to burst your bubble, but we all already know that you can't be bothered with the facts...

    Sad, but true.

    There are tons of people who need mental help who can't afford it under Bush.

    I'm sorry Topic Creator. I understand that arguing with someone, who probably sleeps while Fox News is on in the background, isn't going to change the results of the election or add any votes to either side.

    Call me a stoned slacker. :cheers2:

    You might want to preface that with IF he gets elected ~ believe me when i tell you that he will HAVE to produce his credentials, and i believe they will be the end of his run.

    tell you what, i'll make you a deal: if what you say is true, that he gets elected and then rejected for the reasons you state, I will eat crow in whatever way you require.

    If you are wrong, if he gets elected but then is inaugurated, you will go get the help you need.

    When this is all over, i will still have credibility, no matter which way the election comes down, because all i've said is OPEN YOUR EYES, and minds ~ LOOK AT BOTH SIDES, from as unbiased an attitude as you can.

    You, on the other hand, will only retain any credibility if Obama is elected, and even then? Because of your actions ~ the insults, the condescension, the mockery ~ you won't have much...

    In fact, if your uninformed posts continue, i'll just put you on permanent ignore, and, unlike MJ, won't waffle for one moment about what i might be missing.

    This is supposed to be a hippie community, where the free-spirited and open-minded can meet and talk about stuff. i don't know about y'all, but if there is a segment of that community that chooses to be "Anti-Hippies," by narrowing their vision and following what they've been led to put all of their trust in, like some flock of bleating sheep, well,

    i'd rather avoid that neighborhood 'cuz those folks aren't quite right.

    To answer your question: why are you Obaminites absolutely REFUSING to allow yourselves to think that any of this could be true???

    I know very well that Obama is more of a gamble than McCann. There are unknowns with Obama, while McCann is a very known quantity.

    So the question really is, why am I willing to take a risk and you aren’t willing to take a risk?

    My answer is simple: What I know McCann will do is more worrisome to me than what I don’t know Obama will do.

    MaryJohn? THAT's just it, dude! i don't want ANY of us to feel like we are eating crow, and there is one, sure-fire way to prevent that. Look at both sides, as if you were for the person you're against, and then go back and compare them, yours against the other, and see what you think.

    This stuff is starting to move so quickly ~ Obama's change on his abortion and taxes policies might just be the beginning of the end for him.

    And you think Obama, with his background in (corrupt) politics ISN'T going to be 'more of the same?'

    What? Are you hoping he IS a radical Muslim, or something??? ROFL j/k!!!

    Why? Because i refuse to make some sort of immature, ego-gratifying demand on you if my side wins?

    ROFLMAO!!!! :rofl:

    When read the heading of this thread I assumed you were conceding the election (and rightfully so) to Barack Obama :eek:

    I’m sorry but short of The Bradley Effect McCain doesn’t have a chance :cheers2:
