Ha ha ha, the blog you referred to does not say that Obama does not hold security clearance only why the host think he shouldn't. Obviously as ignorant as you
Please don't misunderstand me. I am not a big Obama supporter although probably for the exact opposite reasons you dislike him.
Well If McCain wins the election his wife will allow upwards of 10 college students (each) to live off campus (free of charge) at one of their many 20 plus homes Hotwater
But seriously ~ the lack of any evidence to prove us to the contrary, which, btw, that was the best i could find, and those guys do hold some impressive creds, their own selves we're just left guessing. And i have a problem with that. i can find out stuff about McCain, about Biden, about Palin, but everything about Obama, other than his person, is hidden...
Hey Fyrenza you know what bugs me, really bugs me? You got a damn pot leaf stuck to your forehead, a pot leaf. This is a long, deep subject for me and the Neo-Cons have been death on marijuana issues from day one. If McCain or any politician was willing to address this simple issue with honesty it'd go a long way towards gaining my trust. I think Obama would/might begin to reform at least medicinal marijuana and hemp laws or at least reduce the obnoxious prosecution of patients and their care givers as carried out under Bush. It's all about basic honesty, not always as easy as apparent or easy as we'd like especially when it comes to politics. And... Nuclear power plants? We don't need your stinking nuclear power plants. But now I'm just ranting
Regarding marijuana, our neighbors down south in massachusetts are likely to pass a law in november (as one of their ballot questions) which essentially states that if you’re caught with a small amount of marijuana on you, it will only be confiscated by the police - no arrest Hotwater
Pipe dreams! He's not Jesus, he's a politician. If MJ laws are going to change, it's going to be from the bottom up, not from the top down. Obama is not going to fix the country. No president can do that. We are voting for an executive, not a supreme legislator. As an executive, he can set some priorities, but there is a lot of entrenched interest as far as keeping it illegal is concerned. He will also most likely be in a weaker position than Bush, because he is not a believer in the unitary executive. That's a good thing. We need no kings or dictators. If MJ laws are your big concern, you should concentrate on who your candidate will appoint to head up the justice department, because god knows we need an arm's length relationship there. I'd love to see weed legalized, so i wouldn't ever be stuck in the position of being new to an area without a hookup (as in right now), but voting for president is not going to accomplish that.
<Sorry about that ~ something happened and i kept getting a Database Error thing every time i tried to enter the site, last night, and that's why i disappeared like that. Anyway,> Good eye! And, yes, i'm a user. But here's the thing ~ THAT is going to be changed on a state to state level, and once the states next to you go for it? PROVE it isn't your legal prescription from that other state, and that you're not just there, visiting ~ it would cost WAY too much, for cases that wouldn't go the distance. And i don't know about you, but i've got friends in other states that i can visit for a quick trip to DMV and the doctor's office. (And i am eligible for it, no questions asked.) Right now, the BEST thing we could be doing is concentrating, not JUST on this flippin' nightmare that we're calling an election, but on the REPS that are going to Congress and the Senate, on our behalf.
