has problems with staying in relationships? whats the longest relationship you have been in, and people who do have problems staying in a relationship, what would you say the reason for it is? people who tend to have longer relationships, whats your secret for dealing with another person for so long?
my longest relationship was for about a year and it was pretty open. i don't think i want to be tied down and have a serious relationship right now. it doesn't go without saying though that if the right girl came around i wouldn't settle. i know she's out there, just haven't found her yet.

interesting. my longest "actual" relationship is 3 months.. i dont know why im like that though. just broke up with my boyfriend last week. poor guy was head over heels for me, and didnt understand why i was breaking up with him... trouble is i couldnt tell him why i was breaking up with him myself.... its like after so long i feel a sence of suffocation. im scared ill be alone forever.
you arent gonna be alone forever I hate this preconceived notion that if someone doesnt find love then there alone why cant we all just share love together?
i think most people cant stay much longer than a few months because they get tired of being with their mate....either mentally or physically....you have to find someone special....that is also interesting. They have to keep you on your toes, and make you want them....and balanced. my longest relatinship was 2 years, maybe a month or so more....i think we kinda mutually broke it off because we both knew we were never to be married...so we just became friends instead. I think it was a pretty good experience, i learned a lot about the good times and bad, but she didnt like sex (we were pretty young at the time), but i did learn how to adapt and compromise, and do the little things that keep a girl interested. Problem is, i cant seem to find a girl that has some of the same interests as me anymore, because they are usually all taken...i have approached a few woman, but to no avail...but i would love to feel that way again, and take it to another level. There are really two kinds of people...those who prefer a relationship, and a serious conection, and those who enjoy the single life, and are more interested in having fun present moment... the secret? patience. compromise. effort. i could go on lol....
i used to be afraid of commitment.. and commitment was afraid of me. its really about finding the right person that you are compatible with. theres no easy solution or trick to staying a relationship.
