Blues - [blooz] - The most sublime, divine, advanced music genre known to man, representing a quantum leap in artistic creativity analogous to the development of the frontal lobe in the human brain. Having a music IQ below 155 renders one incapable of FULLY appreciating the blues. Being a connoisseur of blues bespeaks of extremely high intelligence and impeccable level of personal sophistication. On the other hand, those who despise blues can uniformly be characterized as primitive troglodytes, closer to ape than man.

    Joke.

The Iceman-Albert Collins was always a fav of mine. Then there is the best guitarist of any genre ever, Roy Buchanan. Lonnie Mack was good as well playin his flyin V, as was Albert King. Then you have more modern players today in Joe Bonamassa, Walter Trout, and Coco Montoya, the last two having played previously in John Mayall's band.
