    October 28, 2008

    Oh, MaryJohn, MaryJohn...

All of us KNOW that, even should Obama be REMOVED from the ballot,

YOU :drool5: will be writing in his name.

i mean, really? Why should anyone care that his campaign is working just as sleazily as people have been saying it was?

i mean, you did your research, right? YOU know he's clean as a whistle. The News told you so.

    Cripes.

In California there is a public data base to check out the veracity of contractors and their licenses. I would have thought the Republicans would have checked this out before they catapulted a poser to fame. But hey Palin is the VP choice, so I guess they don't understand how to check qualifications.

No private records have to be violated to check out an individual's claim that they are a contractor. And that's how it should be. Why hire someone on false pretenses.

Jesus gardner, let him manufacture little fantasies for himself. It's this kind of distraction that has McCaininites so off message.

And again I have to ask why you don't pay attention. Your point might be relevant if Joe was from California. But, he's not. So what the fuck is your point?

I know multiple cases of criminal privacy invasion isn't as interesting as how much money a campaign spent on clothes for a candidate, but what do you do.

I'm sorry, did you bring up the McCain campaign? Did the Obama campaign have anything to do with this?

You just love false equivalence don't you? I'm beginning to think it's something about the way your mind actually works.

Did I say absolutely anything that would imply that? I think Gardener is starting to rub off on you.

The way my mind works is that I notice when somebody cares more about how much money was spent on clothes, than about how a citizens personal privacy is criminally invaded multiple times, including once by someone having opposing political beliefs. That is of course based on if one of the suspects, Helen Jones-Kelly, is convicted. I am infact implying that as she is a strong Obama supporter, having donated $2500 to Obama's campaign, she may have had motivation to try and taint the reputation of someone who is receiving massive media attention and has an opposing political viewpoint. But I am sure that her inquiry was just coincidence right?

Everyone is aware of the term, 'Contract Labor,' right? What would you call yourself if that's how you worked, you had a chance to be on TV, and you actually WERE trying to move toward owning your own business?

Yeah, let's hang this egotistic, self-promoting person.

And THIS is what small business has to deal with??? People like MJ???

i may want to rethink my little flower biz...

The prosecutors will have their hands full trying to come up with a motive.

Its too bad Joe the Plumber is not Islamic...... Our Civil Libretatians would be screaching about privacy violations.

Does anyone remeber the squall about the Patriot Act ?

    Warantless wiretapping?

If these folks really cared about our freedoms it would show. instead we get partisan stunts that melt into hypocrisy as soon as one of thier enimies get hit.

Who says Republicans made Joe the Plumber? he is just some schmuck who asked Senator Obama a straight, question about money. Mc Cain was not even around at the time of the question.

Why cant our citizens ask straight questions about money to our political candidates. A nice departure from the treachy platitudes we are fed.

Why is this questioner attacked with mob-like vengance?

I've seen no evidence of mob-like vengeance. And I suspect your usage of it was to incite racial prejudice.

What I've seen surrounding Joe the Plumber is intellectual skepticism. And it appears to be well founded.

yeah, nobody wants to hurt the guy. it's just my mind is insulted by this bullshit. I just think he should vote for Obama if he's a wannabe plumber who wants to get a fair shake someday.

Of course, now he's enjoying fame and money. I heard a radio host took a collection to pay off his back taxes.

    Not surprising.

The first thing I heard from liberals after this blew up was "he's not even a licensed plumber" and "he owes $1200 in back taxes". Not addressing the issues, just trying to discredit the guy and attacking his character. If he owed $100k in taxes and was an electrician, would his question be any less valid? The fact is that JTP made your messiah look bad and you are threatened by him.

What issues? Joe the Plumber was supposed to steer the conversation AWAY from the issues, because McCain's camp doesn't feel it can win on the issues.

Unless, by the issues, you meant whether obama shared a sandwich with a terrorist in a racist church full of radical socialists?

The issue that JTP confronted Obama about. "Wealth redistribution". What about my last paragraph did you not comprehend?
