but how many of you have ever owned chickens? since we'll be moving soon im looking into places that allow chickens, and am looking forward to some fresh eggs. I just wanted to know if anyone here had personal experience.
and, for future reference, who lives in colorado and would be willing to take any surplus eggs? i don't know where we'll move to yet, but i figure i will eventually have more eggs than i can eat. my head is full of chickens!

you should let the surplus eggs hatch. so you can have some tasty chicken in the future.

@OP.. take what eggs you dont think you will use at the time and beat them and put them in either empty milk cartons or freezer bags and put them in your freezer and when you need them thaw them out for scrambled eggs or whatever

never apply for dishie at a restaurant.. if anything apply for prep cook.. you do small tasks.. and you get paid more than a dishie usually and you dont need experience for the most part...

when i first got into the restaurant biz i applied for dishwasher or prep cook.. and they told me those positions were filled but if i would be interested in cooking.. i was like hell yea.. skipped all the bullshit :D
