Lol to this thread dude Like Chuck said a candidate isn't pro-abortion because they aren't promoting abortion, they just believe that the option should be available if the woman so chooses. That is honestly the only view that makes sense since otherwise people are forcing their own beliefs onto others by saying they can't get abortions. Guns are cool and all but one of the things Obama is going after is handguns. What is the point of a handgun besides shooting people/self defense from people? People don't go hunting with handguns so at least placing more restrictions on handguns could possibly lower our outrageously high murder rate. Surely it won't solve the problem as people will still buy them black market style, but it should prevent some others from getting one and thus the ability to commit a crime with one. I would say that makes him more qualified to be president. Church and state and too intertwined and I would love if churches would back the fuck out of matters entirely earthly. No? allow me to once again say that i didn't write this. it's an e-mail that a friend sent to me. i know a few things are out of place and whatnot but there is alot of truth to what is written. i know what pro-abortion means and i think women should have the choice, always have. i won't argue with that. handgun or not, the laws should not be cracked down on. it's ridiculous. sure go ahead and take away a citizen's right to have a gun in the house for protection; that way only the bad guys will have them on the streets. there shouldn't even be an arguement over such a stupid matter.
you shouldn't have to illegally purchase a weapon in an attempt to protect your home the war is taking place because it needs to be fought. the minute we take our troops out of iraq, if we decide to do so, they will start planning attacks on us and another 9/11 will take place. except next time maybe it will be worse. worth the risk? no thanks.
First of all its the police who should protect your home... mind your own shit and stay out the bad neighborhood. I bet obama wont take away shotguns or rifles... if he did this in mn hunters would protest and win. Hunting is huge here, and shotguns are also home protection.
