A crystal snowflake lattice speckled with geometric constructions from beyond our world, gifts of paradox presented on a cushion of infinity

that is a beautiful description. It kind of captures what i was feeling at the time geared towards agitation. I had a really weird trip

I dont know about him but i dont think my brain could cope with putting colour into a picture on 8 hits.

As for the picture, i like it. It shows the chaotic mind of an acid tripper.

I agree ^^^^, Yea i couldn't understand the concept of adding color to the picture. I saw enough of it in my inner eye. It was fascinating. I didn't exactly SEE the color, i just kinda knew it was there without me having to do anything. I had this impression that when you create art in the most basic of settings(excluding the acid, just letting the artistic side of you flow freely) its like a whole other being is making it. I didn't think in the slightest bit about what i wanted to draw, i just let it happen.

Yea, i didn't really concentrate on what i was doing. i just let it flow and it added a sense of depth all on its own. Really crazy cuz i've never been that big into drawing or anything. The most my appreciation was for it was admiring other peoples work.

not all art is fucking great, and you people that think so are dead wrong. When I see art that actually moves my soul, I'll let you know. Till then, a piece of paper with black lines and some triangles is shit. Sorry, you wanted a professional opinion, you got it.

First of all I never asked for your "professional opinion". And just because you don't like it, doesn't mean others don't like it. Not everyone like picasso yet he's a great. Not everyone like Andy worhal, yet hes a great.

It's time for you to get your egotistical head out of your ass and step down from your pedestal. I personally think your art is shit, but i don't berate you for no fucking reason. If you got nothing good to say don't say anything at all.

YOU ARE NOT THE WORLD. THE WORLD OUTNUMBERS YOU AND SO FAR EVERYONE HERE HAS LIKED MY ART BUT YOU!

I also never said i was an artist. I was tripping balls and scribbled on a piece of paper and it looked cool to me and wanted to see what other people thought. You could have just said, "not my style".

    Ass

for being on 8 hits its pretty good lol. but you should really try drawing on the comedown instead, i've made many beautiful drawings in that state of mind at the wee hours of the night.

"i just let it flow and it added a sense of depth all on its own." this is exactly how you should be approaching it, true art comes from the soul and flows out on the paper.

edit: i just looked at it again, and the above posters (minus a few) are right, it looks 3 dimensional like kind of pops out. i think if you refined this you would have an astounding piece to share :)

thanks for posting your drawing, it's what i'd call "sketched out" referring to the state of mind. Don't take offense at a poor review though man, you posted in a public place and folks can have whatever opinion.

Here's a tip for drawing better while spun- practice. if you're no artist to begin with you still have as much potential to learn how to while dosed as someone who's good at drawing. Kind of like learning how to write in a different language.
