Well let me first start off by saying I'm glad I found this site, I google'd "trippy" a few weeks ago looking for tapestry's and came across this site lol, hell yeah. Anyways, I basically need a different setting, people, and some outdoor action. I've always loved being outside and golfing. I've heard good things about Colorado, I have 2 friends that want me to move out there with them in a year or so, but I don't know how to go about finding where.I live in the middle of bumfuck Kansas, and I hate it. I'm going to be turning 20 soon and I need to get the hell out of here and find other people who are down with weed and psychedelics, it pisses me off when people just hear one word about that and they are immediately turned off by it and frown upon it.I've heard good things about a Culinary school in Denver, but mixed opinions about the city itself....would be nice if I could find the town of Peace & Love... I will be on later tonight after I hit the bong, I will probably make more sense later instead of this rambled non sense I'm trying to write down after I dealt with more asshats this afternoon ;/ Peace
bro I'm my way out the door to hit up some dinner at my folk's. i live in colorado. Grew up here left for university came back. I'll give you all the down and dirty when I get back tonight. theshow
i recommend NOT moving to the socialist republic of boulder, but anything along the front range is better than fucking kansas. the arvada/ wheatridge/ lakewood side of I 25 is nice, denver is nice, except for the gangs. its really beautiful, and that makes up for a lot of the less pleasant things. the only really sad thing is the lack of ocean, IMO. im from new york originally, and i miss big water. but kansas doesn't have big water, so you won't miss it. i like it here.
If you are young you will probably want to move to a collage town or Denver. Boulder is expensive but has very nice outdoor recreation and tons of pot smoking liberal people. Fort Collins is OK but gotta watch out for the cops they frown on smoking up in the park or late night drunken strolls. Denver is OK if you like bigger cities just don’t move into a gang banger neighborhood. Colorado Springs is a big Air Force town it has hippies but LOTs of army people and meth heads. There is nice towns in the mountains they are usually ski towns or smaller rual town. Marijuana is just an infraction, which means you just get a fine and you don’t have to go to court if you get busted with less then an oz. We also have medical Marijuana not sure of the details.
