Anyone who wants a good laugh...

I just got out of school and there were some people talking about how pot got decriminalized in MA and I was like "I can't wait til it just gets legalized everywhere so everyone can shut the fuck up. Everyone who says its so bad just because it's illegal. I want to see the looks on all their faces."

Then some girl butted into the conversation and this is what was said:

Her : "MA only legalized it for medical use."

Me: "No, they decriminalized it. You can have up to an ounce on you with no penalty and over and ounce is a fine."

Her: "That's retarded all these people are so dumb."

Me: "Why...tell me...why is it so bad?"

Then she gives me this dirty look and goes "Because it is...what's the point of just getting high for no reason?"

I asked what she did for fun and she said she played the piano so I asked her "What's the point of playing the piano for no reason?"

Her: "That's different it's a cultural thing"

Me: "Weed's a cultural thing too, it's Native American culture along with many others."

Then she rolled her eyes and said "Well I don't know why anyone would want to waste their life away to start seeing cockroaches crawling on the walls and bugs under their skin."


I laughed straight in her face lmao that's like 1940's propaganda Reefer Madness bullshit. I didn't know there was anybody who even still believe that shit. I was like "Yeah you're right...your head might blow up too!"

I spent 3 straight hours convincing this kid that weed doesnt make you hallucinate.

I ended up smoking with him and disproving him completely.

 

You still get in trouble for having an oz in MA, its just a small fine now instead of a misdemeanor.

 

does this mean in MA they will have medical marijuana dispensaries? like in california?

 

If that wasnt sarcasm, then no. Pot is still illegal and all the laws stay the same except for simple possession of up to an Oz. Where instead of it being a misdemeanor it is just a fine of $100 much like a traffic ticket.

 

idk about in MA, but i live in RI and they're putting a dispensary at the hospital down the street haha =p
