Please be honest with me. Ever since I became interested in astrology, I really identified with being a Scorpio sun. Of course I know you are not only your sun sign but all of your chart. I have Mars and Venus in Libra which would be considered “weak,” and overall I have so few planets in fixed signs. This is something that somewhat plagues me (but I try not to let it), so can anyone who actually knows a thing or two about astrology tell me if my chart is weak? I detest the idea of being weak. Could someone with my chart possibly “compare” to a Scorpio with a stellium in Scorpio, for example? Here are the details: Sun - Scorpio Moon - Virgo Mercury - Sagittarius Mars - Libra Venus - Libra Jupiter - Aquarius Saturn - Scorpio in Uranus - Sagittarius Neptune - Capricorn Pluto - Scorpio My chart: I suppose the fact that I am asking this question says a lot about how I feel about myself. I've always had terrible self-esteem (I wonder if you can see this from my chart)? Anyway, would love your honest opinion. Thanks so very much!
You are making too much of it. A Scorpio stellium has its issues, such as being stuck in its own way of thinking until things explode in one's face. I actually know some. I like your Mercury much better, but you should be aware of the extent your emotions impact your way of thinking (Mercury square Moon). They tend to feed into your fears (Mercury conj Saturn).
I notice a lot of your planets fall on the West and South West quadrants of your natal chart. This tells me you are more introverted and easier swayed by others opinions. This can lead to self esteam issues. Your Virgo Moon and Mars square Neptune exaserbate the situation.
Typically in Astrology, placement of major planets such as Mercury/Venus/Mars in Libra are considered "weak" (using the term very loosely) because Libra is thought to be a very easygoing, unassertive, give-way type of sign (being it directly opposite Aries, the sign of aggression and assertion). I'd just like to say goldenchild, that I really like your chart. I bet you have a very powerful personality. A Scorpio sun is a very interesting combination with the other planetary positionings in your chart. With a Scorpio sun, Virgo moon, Gemini ascendant, Sagi mercury, and Venus + Mars in Libra, I'm sure you are LOADED to the brim with charm and charisma.
Well, no, not really. Thanks for your input, but I'm pretty tough and you would not know it if you met me in reality that I was a ball of nerves inside. I like to think of myself as a Scorpio first and foremost and I do believe I have all the typical qualities. I am definitely more introverted than extroverted but not to an extreme extent. And I am most certainly not easily swayed by how others see me. So I guess this is where astrology gets it wrong. And yes I do realize I am resurrecting a dead thread but I only just remembered I made it!
