yea you can but you can only get epa and dha omega 3s through fish...i believe.....maybe hemp seeds have have them. I wouldnt be surprised, hemp is basically an all around miracle plant. Just wondering willy, did you ever start that organic farm you had mentioned a loong time ago? and to pushit--the fish are not caught for the sole purpose of making liver oil. The liver is left over after the meat is taken.
CORRECT there are omegas in hemp seeda ..but to answer the main question; i eat animal flesh cause it's nutritious, delicious, cheap, and goes well with milk and veggies
The fish get the dha and epa from algae, they do not make it. People can get dha and epa from algae too. And no I haven't got my farm yet, Ive still got quite a nice garden when in season. I'm in no rush to accomplish my goals, I am confident that all my dreams can come true in time.
Animals with proper diets are also loaded with omega 3's. The idea is to get more omega 3's in the spring and summer, more omega 6's in fall and winter. but for me it's more like: meat is heat. and tasty. not to mention, I get a kick out of eating a soul.
aha i did not know that. That makes a lot of sense though haha. Thats really cool though man, i love the idea of being there for the whole process of your food. Even better yet, the idea of being self sufficient. Nice philosophy though, you seem like a pretty laid back optomistic guy. Good luck with that farm and all them dreams brother
buffalo (bison) meat is one of the most healthiest meats in the world. theres a study on Native Americans (like myself) and buffalo meats. the native women get 95% less cancer and sugar diabetes on a buffalo diet, the bison meat contains carnitine which controls the cholesterol in the body carrying/burning fatty acids and produces energy which reduces fat levels. it has less fat then deer, beef, pork, chicken and most fish. its a very lean meat. Bison meat has a high content of selenium which makes it especially good to break down minerals, vitamins in the body. if ur suffering from heart disease buffalo meat is the way to go. this must be for the city people huh. anyway most of the greens sold are also pumped with chemicals and nasty shite. they put fucking wax on apples in the stores to make them look shiny. haha. and buying bio/organic green foods is for like rich people, shit is costy. oh and with the native beliefs u do take in the animals lifeforce, and after a kill you make a prayer for it and usually give an offering like (tobacco) which is a ceremonial herb allover the globe. there not animals to most natives, most thought/think of them as people to, like the buffalo people, deer people... they werent something just to shoot at, u treat them with respect and only kill when u have to. well thats a view from the native hippie here.
Not to be rude but why does it matter why we choose to eat meat? we are basicaly up right animals in suits(shirt, pants/whatever) do you question why preditors kill other animals for food? no you don't so why do people feel the need to ask a human why? the only diffrence is that we can choose what we eat thats all and ones choice is just that one's choice it should be respected as such, I never ridicule a vegitarian for what they choose to eat, well only so long as they respect my choices.
Yea', not to mention the fact it's likely not pumped full of growth hormones and antibiotics. Or that they're generally Free ranging or Pastured as opposed to being jammed in Bovine office cubicles where they spend most of their life building up toxins in their flesh from the overabundance of hormones released out of fear and anxiety. Got my Tobacco growing indoors now. Still need to find the right tree for the Bow thou. Hey Hesh, ever try Adams Needle cordage for a bowstring?
we probably need it to stay healthy now adays especially if you let your body get used to digesting it all the time your body probably whould probably not feel right seeings how your use to digesting it all the time just like a vegetarian is used to not digesting it then a vegetarian whould probably feel weird eating meat i heard that we were all vegetarians once back when we were cavemen or earleier then that then some how we added meat into it
First off we aren't decended from cavemen they were a diffrent species of human that died out shortly after our ancestors started spreading out from africa. Secondly there is no actual evidence that our ancestors orginally were vegitarians, we like the caveman were hunter/gathers. case close.
Jesus said, "Blessed is the lion which becomes man when consumed by man; and cursed is the man whom the lion consumes, and the lion becomes man." - The Gospel of Thomas, 7))
you are confusing cavemen with neandertals. both could be called cavemen, depending on whether or not they lived in a cave. eating meat, or rather bone marrow, is what allowed our ancestors to scavenge that which other predators could not harvest. it goes hand in hand with tool use, and the development of a large brain, which requires massive amounts of energy to run. meat is what let us get there. many primates eat meat. Chimps, baboons, etc... Does that mean we should eat meat? no. does it mean anything at all? no. eat what you want, and leave me alone with my black and blue steak.
Jesus was not god... God said "thou shalt not kill". I'm not saying, you shouldn't eat meat... do what you will, but your Jesus quote is sort of hypocritical to what god wants.
In fact, this verse from the Gospel of Thomas doesn't say anything about the nature of Jesus, and certainly he can be considered very much different from the god of the Old Testament you allude to. But wow, what kind of hypocrisy have you found there?
Well, the Bible has nothing to do with my quotation, and surely it must be interpreted symbolically. I wonder why you both have taken it so seriously
Even that commandment from God is hypocrisy, how can man not kill even eating only plants, they are still life... Its just because they think "its not as bad as killing an animal."
