Heya! Last month I went on an adventure and I did a series of watercolors that I hawked on the street for money. I was bumming around with no job and I thought this was a good idea, but now I only have these 3 left in the series of 8 paintings. I put a lot of love and effort into these and I hope you enjoy them,... disclaimer:the colors aren't as soft as they look in person. image too big
Beautiful! I'd like to begin working with watercolor there are amazing things that can be done with it
That's some really good work, I'd like to see some more if you get the chance. Really reminds me of the old days back in elementary working with water colors.
Awesome! Do you dry and paint with water? I've been dabbling with them myself, and your works have provided hope. :cheers2:
Thanks everybody! Does2, I paint multiple coats of thin layers of paint, and sometimes I apply just water to smooth out some colors or soften the feel by soaking up paint. I'm working on one that has a similar design to the first one.
yea very nice, i love them! i would probably buy one if i came across you selling them on the street eheh, i was gonna ask if u can get a scan of that first one.. i would love to have that hanging up on my psychedelic wall :hurray: keep up the good work! peace
How much were those going for? If you wanna get rid of the last 3 I'd be tempted to buy if I could afford it. LOVE the first and second ones.
you tried, and for that I give you props. But don't display something until its breathtaking My opinions, but of course.
It's quite disappointing that you can't be more civil if you're going to be critical. I've seen how other people slam you and lay in vicious attacks and couldn't understand why until I read this rather nasty missive. I'm supposing that you fancy yourself some sort of authority on art and assuming that, you'll need to work on being more constructive in your feedback if you're going to bother offering it. It might help to take your own ego down a notch and take the assumption that whatever a person's level of talent, they get a degree of satisfaction from producing their art and sharing it with other people who might find appreciation in it. Since this isn't the art forum version of American Idol, there's no need for you to fill the position of Simon Cowell.
