Bush to Obama: "What An Awesome Night For You" November 4, 2008 WASHINGTON — President Bush has called Barack Obama to congratulate him on winning the presidency. The two-term Republican president told the Illinois senator upon his historic win: "What an awesome night for you, your family and your supporters." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/05/bush-to-obama-what-an-awe_n_141243.html
For the first time in a long time I actually voted for the winner. I do hope he can deliver on the promised change... it is sorely needed. How nice criminal Bush called to congratulate.
I don't particularly care about Prop 8, but it really has nothing to do with Obama. ...plus, it's still not sure if Prop 8 is even going to pass. But all in all, completely irrelevant.
It's certainly time to realize that skin colour doesn't mean anything but skin colour. Happy changes !
It should be interesting who is chosen to fill the cabinet positions. Sounds like there are some good choices in the hopper already.
one of my friends which probably isn't a valid source said that Oprah was going to be a foreign ambassador. that'd suck balls. anyways, I totally would've done a victory dance if i was obama. 250,000 people cha cha slide anyone?

Yeah, Baby! It's almost surreal, I was bracing myself for the huge let down we experienced four years ago, like a bad trip, but somehow reason prevailed this time around. I admired McCain's concession speech. Now if we can just get through what little remains of the bush administration without too many more huge blunders...
Fuck that. Obama is not my president...I did not vote for him. I will not stand behind a man who attended a racist church for 20 years, then sang a 'new tune', when America found out. I don't trust Obama at all -- he has a shady past. Obama is a dangerous man. Just wait until then honeymoon is over. Obama's gonna fuck us all, in the end. Say what you want, Obama's going to tax the middle class... Obama is going to destory the economy beyond repair, by killing small businesses. He's gonna tax the shit out of small buisnesses making over $250-200-150-125, 000. (The amount keeps on changing!) Also by taxing the rich, he's gonna force big businesses to raise prices for the consumer (you and me) and lay off workers to make up for his ''taxing the rich'' plan. It's not going to work...he's gonna kill this country! Obama is also going to drive more factories overseas. Obama is the killer of the American Dream. You think times are tough now? America is blind...and they'll soon realize this, when our country is in another ''great depression''. And chaos will reign in the streets of America. Remember our enemies are keeping an eye on us... waiting for the right time to strike. And oh yeah, Obama wants to cut military spending and weaken our military -- when there are maniacs who want to destroy the U.S.A. Or have we forgotten already? America has voted and it's too late to ''change'' your vote.
actually, he is your president, woops. america *was* blind, and that is why we will be in a great depression. it's too bad that old policies will make their influence while obama is in office, because you will no doubt blame it on him. he cannot undo eight very dark years in four.
Obama will go down in history as the greatest president ever. If you weren't emotional tuesday night you are not a patriot. This election shows how great this country still is. We are now back on track as the world's greatest country. This is the greatest moment of my life!!! But don't get it twisted. If Obama is touched,we ride. Not only do i speak for myself, but for millions of black men country wide,we are ready and willing to take a bullet for President Obama. So to all you nazi's and skinheads out there, don't turn this glorious moment into something you are noy ready for. The Klan is alway's talking about a race war,but trust me when i say you don't wan't these problems. What you rednecks can do to help this country is to go and help Bush pack his shit,so he can get the fuck out of Obama's crib so he can get this country back on track. Man it feels good to be a gangsta
I hope that as Obama's administration takes office, the Bush administration will take all the "No, we can't" buttons with them.
