I have a digital wood box vape that goes up to about 431 F. at 210 F, it works perfectly for thc. i wonder if i could use it to vaporize salvinorum, which i believe requires close to 400 F, does it not?
I know it has to be very hot, so it may work, but it may not. I'm interested as to what the effects will be.
do you mean actual salvinorin crystals,or just leaf or extract? i say stay away from the pure salvinorin, unless you have a microgramm scale and you know what you are doing.the quantities are so small getting a dose wrong would be almost a sure thing as for leaf,i say go for it...the melting point for salvinorin is about 240 celsius,do it and report back...
wow, this got dug up. i had forgotten about it. ive still got the salvia (i almost prefer saying i have some to using it...lol) a talk with the local headshop has made me decide that the vaporizer burns it over a relative amount of time, possibly making it hard to hit at once. maybe in the next week or two ill stick it in my pipe....
Yeah...the high temperature might just burn up the whole leaf and you will end up with vaporized smoke...lol... Does your vaporizer not have a collecting chamber of some sorts? You could just wait for it to fill up with smoke/vapor and hit it all at once...might be to hot Anyway, have a nice one and be safe...
