smoking the resin

Hello,

I've heard that you can smoke the resin left behind on your bong from years of smoking. Is this true? How is it done?

 

Why would you not clean your bong for years?

Months of smoking, not years. I don't really like it, it tastes like shit. But sometimes you just need to get high.

 

Is there a way to scrape the resin from the bottom of your bong? Like from the top of the bubble at the bottom where the water goes, me and my friend's call it the resin line because its just like a farmer's tan on your bong.

 

bong resin is disgusting.
even when it's fully dry, the resin will be all gooey and nasty.
i would recommend cleaning it out without keeping the resin.
pour some rubbing alcohol and salt in there and shake it around, let it sit for 5 min. shake it around some more and pour it out, then rinse it out with water.

i tend to find that dro resin can taste sweet-ish, but its really not worth it.

bong resin is the worst, all that time soaking in water maybe, who knows

resin from inside dry pipes or stems is not as bad

resin scraped from a bowl is the best as far as taste and potency

but....

ITS STILL RESIN that shits nasty, not to mention the crazy high amounts of tar your putting in your lungs compared to bud

if you have a low tolerance it will get ya high, but wont last as long, and is a very dirty and sedate high, not nearly as pleasant as bud

BUT if you must, the best way to get resin for the smoking is as follows:

get the highest % iso alochol you can find (really dont use anything under 90% as the amount of water will take way longer to dry it out, id suggest only using 99%)

but anyway, just pour in a bit of the alcohol into your piece, let it soak it, shake it around and get all that resin off. you should now have a thick black soupy liquid

pour that shit out into a flat plate, and let the iso evaporate. once its dry scrape it up with a knife or razor blade. if you heat the plate before hand the iso will evaporate much sooner

this method will get you the most resin, and the most high quality resin (oxymoron i know) but when you burn it youll notice it melts and doesnt burn, kinda like bho or hash, so make sure to use a screen, use two so you dont let that precious resin you spent all that time collecting drip through the bowl

but i still dont suggest smoking resin...

Resin is the THC crystal trichromes that hang off the buds. That turdish goo shit you get out of your pipe or bong after a few smoke sessions is nothing but tar and other plant waste left over. It's never gotten me high, tastes nasty too. I say just throw some rubbing alcohol in it and shake it around for a good 3 minutes then rinse with water.

 

i've seen kids buy pipe resin thinking it was hash, lol. I really feel bad for the peeps that don't know jack about MJ.

 

can't (don't want to) smoke with it, can't smoke without it.
