Yeah, because putting a date on the "end of the world" is so much more intelligent. If humanity ends, it certainly won't all happen in a 24 hour span and even so, the world will never end. We'll just go the way of the dinosaurs. Don't be so selfish to think that humans make the world go 'round. We're just along for the ride.

 

Of course humans don't make the world go 'round; but there are a few countries that have way more than enough nuclear weapons to end the Earth as a planet! And, one of those countries has already proved that it is more than willing to use those weapons.

In ancient history did you learn anything at all about two Japanese cities named Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

there are a few holes in this argument, but because i agree with the underlying sentiment, i'll let it go.

Im not worried about it. its a bunch of naive talk but I am afraid that when 2012 comes and its close to december, I think the suicidal rate is going to go up sadly cause people Are that freaked about that day which will be nothing which makes it even more pathetic

 

I just keep hearing "The world is going to end tomorrow" and so I put on my best underwear and hat and then nothing and I have to wash my good underwear again!

I think I'll stock up on perty undies...so I have enough for laundry day...12-21-2012 will definitely be the end of something...even if only the longest day of the year, right?

 

If anything happens and I'm sure something will happen, I'll call all my friends, and we're gonna get a HUGE amount of weed and roll like 200 joints and be high as fuck!!!!!!!

 

Or at least add something that hasn't been said on the net at least dozens of times...

 

I think its the shortest day of the yr in my time zone.

 

12/21/2012 - God willing, this will be my mother's 91st birthday.

I live w/ her and she is in Excellent health, very physically active, etc. and look forward to her this year's 12/21 b'day.

Anyhoo - she is a Tough old woman, to put it mildly, and even though I'm a God believer, I surely don't think it will be that specific day! it says that not even the angels in heaven know when this - what you all are referring to, not me - will happen.

So for me, that's what that day will be.
