The Saw series has been one of my favorite horror entertainment. The new SAW V is out now and I went to see it the other day. It did not disapoint. Go see it. It is really scary. I wont give anything away, so be prepared to squirm. It does follow from the previous movies, I'll tell you that much.

I personally am a horror film fanatic, I have a collection of 70 or so films from 1919 to now and the Saw films are a part of them. Well up to the third one anyway, after that it just started becoming just another franchise being done to death to make the studio money. The only thing that made me personally hang in to the third and fourth films was the twists that came out of left feild, like in part one when you found out that jigsaw was in the room the whole time. It made it feel just diffrent enougth to be good now it's just becoming perdictible like Holloween, Hellraiser, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on elm st. Sure Saw still has the WTF moments but by four or five movies it just feels like that episode of the Simpsons "Lisa Lionheart" where people flock to the "new" Malibu Stacy doll which is exactly like the old one just with a new hat. In other words Saw 5: The same damn movie but with a new hat so it's diffrent.

That is true, and very funny. They are the same, but for some reason they still entertain me. I just have to see them. They tie everything together pretty well. Out of all the horror series out there, it has to be one of the best.

MMmmm.. now that i know how twisty the movies are I like to try to guess what the twist is before the end of the movie.

Tooo bad I suck at it. Ahaha..

I thought the fifth one was good,
    a little too short though.

The 2nd one is still my favorite though.

I heard they were gonna make 13 saws though,
like the number 13 has some significance in the movie?

    Im not sure,
and im not sure if im prepared for 13 saws. hahh.

I'm a horror movie fanatic, and I loved the first Saw.. but after that to me they just became these huge gore fest if you want to see gore Guinie Pig series or something. I didn't know they were making even more.. when will it end? Lord have mercy.

Saw V is better than Saw III and IV. But I think that Saw V is totally inappropriate for people who haven't seen the other 4 saw movies.
