The Drive... Rock and Roll history and music all in one station

Top Ten at 10 (both 10am and 10pm) "Music is like a place holder in time; capturing the spirit, struggles and hopes of the moment. As we look back on milestone albums and the artists that produced some of the greatest music ever made, we remember the events and atmosphere that shaped those recordings and the world’s reaction to them. Each morning at 10, The Drive’s Bob Stroud will pick ten great songs from one great year that encapsulate that moment in time."

Rock and Roll Roots - "Rock 'N Roll Roots with host Bob Stroud airs every Sunday from 9am to 12 noon on The Drive. Roots is a Chicago institution with a 20 year history on the radio airwaves. Bob Stroud demonstrates his vast rock & roll knowledge and spreads his musical wings for our Sunday morning entertainment."

Live at Five - "Phil Manicki features some of the greatest live recordings in rock on The Drive’s Live at 5."

    Gotta love it!

direct tv radio played 'Bike' by Pink Floyd!!?? wow, that is a bold pick. i have never once heard that on any radio station. "i've got a bike you could ride it if you like...it's got a basket, a bell that rings and things to make it look good. i'd give it to you if i could but i borrowed it." haha, syd barrett seems so tripped out in that song haha

There are Hundreds of them on the web. And that's just the US stations!
I run two different forums that hafe FREE (to the member, and the sites!)
and I have at least 6 different Classic stations between the two.
You can find your own favorite on this: http://www.radio-locator.com/ website.
Any station listing that has a lightning bolt next to the call letters, is Live, and FREE.
