Guys, do you paint your toenails?

Not bad norton. I recently showed off my toes at a bond fire with some casual friends and the moment was a little weird. One girl/friend gave a comment, but I felt avoided for the most part.. :\ Now some of my guy friends look at me differently at school, but they don't tease me about my fashion statement.

 

One of the thing about being 61 years old is I don't give a damn about what others think of what I do. I paint my toenails because I think it look cool. If they can't take a joke . . . piss on 'em. <(^_^)>

norton......your toes look great, i say the same thing who cares what other people think, you wear what you want. thats a great color by the way.

I only ware flip flop because I got tiered of getting glasse in the bottom of my feet. I would prefer to go barefoot. But, ouch! <(^o^)>

 

My sister once painted my toenails but that is only thing i remember ^^ Well she also put my hair in a bun, when it was longer In Estonia, i bet there is almost no man who would paint his toes... So you made me curious and i'm going to try on some black nail polish tonight ^^ Maybe i'm the first guy in Estonia... Yay XD

 

I love wearing flip flops, even b4 i had my toenails officially painted. But now that I do paint my nails(currently splurging the navy blue color in blue flip flops and dark blue jeans, yea its a blue kinda season I love flip flops twice as more! AND MY MOM IS OK WITH IT

 

My (girl) friends have painted them several times, and about a month ago I painted them black myself but I took it off after about a week. I'm thinking about painting them another color like blue, red, or maybe even pink later this week, but I am really nervous about my Mom finding out. I could easily hide it from her with socks, but that gets to be a pain after a while. Besides, what fun is it hiding your toenails from everybody, especially my own mom? I guess my fear is a combination of embarrassment, and worrying that she will think I am gay (not that there is anything wrong with being gay, I'm just not).

That's awesome, how did you show / tell your mom about it? If I could figure out a way to show my mom, I'd have no fear about painting my toenails

 

Well i painted my two big toes black and they look awesome ^^Unfortunatly it is cold around here so only my mom and brother have seen it... They didn't like it though XD

 

This is probably rare, but she actually offered to take me into the salon and get a mani/pedi. I went along with it, went in(Free mani/pedi ) got my nails buffed. OH! she didnt see the previous polish at first since our stalls were apart, but at the end she noticed I was wearing a dark purple color. <-A girl around my age was chatting with me and suggested I got the same color she did and yea we are friends now <3

But my mom's reaction was a little embarassing after she laughed in a surprised manner and every1 starting looking at us. Nonetheless she was ok with it.

-Right now I'm on the search for a casual sandal that won't make me look like a beach bum lol.

 

Heh i went swimming yesterday and forgot about painted toenails... I think that almost noone even saw them There was some wierd kind of silence in sauna though

 

I went to my friends place with my pedicure and toe rings again and while we were hanging out, she kind of dared me to wear my sandals to school. We had a talk about how obvious the reaction would be from my peers but...I'm kind of curious to still do it. Any bravery related advice?

omg.... im so excited to know there is ladies who dont mind us guys having our nails painted....i wouldnt know how to act if i didnt have my nails looking all pretty...

 

yeah there are some women that think it's hot, unfortunately most think it's weird on guys, but i say do what feels right, it makes your feet look better and thats always a good thing.

I know I will paint mine toes soon for the first time. I do ware anklets and toe rings. I take care and pamper my feet. I love ladies barefeet with anklets, toe rings, and painted toes

 

yea i have to say i did paint my toenails blue before but my mom startng calling me gay so I never did that again!
