Strange plant, strange high?

Okay, my friend is really trustworthy, i beleive every thing he says, he has never lied to my in his life, and we have been friends since first grade. I know you might think "Well, how do you know he doesn't lie?", just beleive me, I know.
Anyways, my friend is a big christian and was very antidrugs, but i talked him into drinking and he liked it, and wants to do it again, and he is thinking of taking marijuana orally and doing salvia. He said he had a memory of finding this plant in his backyard and eating seeds from the plant becuase his dad said they tasted good and were safe, and he said he remembers they were good.
He said he found the same plant about a week ago, and decided to pick the seeds, he picked them, and forgot about them. That night he ate one and relised they werent the ones from when he was little. He said he got scared becuase after ten minutes he started to feel very odd, and he began to feel a intense body high/floating feeling. He said that only lasted ten minutes and the high went away, and he said he had crazy dreams the whole night.
The seeds are in pods, but there are only like 3 or 4 seeds per pod. I have no clue what the plant looks like but i did see the seeds. it was like a little dark vomit yellow beed.
The next day he brought a seed to school for me to try, showed me the seed but wouldnt give it to me cuz i said i was gonna do it in school and that worried him.
That night he took two seeds and he said it was even more intense. He said the walls were breathing and the high was so intense that he couldn't move, he was in a paralized state. These effects lasted ten minutes.
Now I promised him if he gave me some, i would use it at home first, then maybe use it at school if it isnt as intense as he says.

What is this strange plant? What are these seeds? Are they deadly or harmful?

also while on this subject me and my friend found a bag with hard small marble sized tree bark covered balls in my friends barn, like someone was hiding a drug. We smoked them and we got pretty high, the high was like marijuana, only lasted like 1 to 3 minutes, we kept doing it, I found that it was slightly addictive. Later, we found out they were flower bulbs that my friends dads dad gave them. Good thing they werent poisonous.

 

Take a pic of the seed, I might be able to tell what the plant is from a picture of it.

 

You really shouldn't smoke things you find unless you know what they are, and even then, that is incredibly risky because you don't know the potency of your particular bag.

Jesus, you and your friend need to be careful unless you want to hurt/kill yourself...

 

pictures would really help. i dont know of any plants where a single seed produces noticible effects.

that said, datura plants are semi-common and require relatively low dose of seed pods. however a pod contains 20 or more seeds

 

me and the friend who smoked the flower bulbs, that was a different friend. The friend who found the seeds never smoked a thing in his life.
