How long of a break do you guys think I'd have to take to get high like i used to when i first started smoking? Is it even possible? I've been smoking for like a year and a half and its just completely different. I miss everything turning completely crazy and laughing non-stop for hours even when things arent funny. So far I'm at a week and a half of not smoking from smoking everyday lol...kinda sucks...but it must be done!

Take about a month to completely reset your system... two weeks will do some good but if you want it to be like your first time wait a month. I know its hard but its worth it

Just take a few days in between the times you smoke. when you smoke too much you start to find reality sober and reality stoned the same and get too used to it, so having sober days every week helps you realize that it should be special.
also if every time you smoke you do it the same time or place or with the same people it can all become sameness, switch it up when you smoke and be adventurous cuz i know when i used to smoke a few times a day it was always in my room with Pink Floyd on and that was basically it. now i try to meet new people when i smoke or do something different which makes it a helllots more fun. it'll never feel like your first time, because its the first time you saw transcended reality.

yea, but fuck waiting a year. I was on probation for 6 months. And the first time I smoked still was no where near the level of craziness that was the first few months of smoking. I think its cause its something new. You dont know what to expect. After a while it gets to be more familiar and loses some of that edge. Its still good as hell but not as much of a crazy mind fuck.

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it gets to the point where you cant really tell if its working for you or not. Thats why im having a two week dry spell right now.

i didnt smoke for ages, like over a year then went to a party and smoked a bowl. i was fhoooked. worse than i'd ever been, maybe they had started puttin other shit in it by then but i was mashed. all my muscles were twitching and going crazy, it actually wasnt as good as my usual mellow high from being an every day smoker which i was.

i know a few people who have taken 8 month breaks and a year. they rolled a blunt and just took a mad hit. they were flyin high.

I regularly wait a month or more. I think I'm kind of an atypical stoner in that if I have an eighth to a quarter, rather than smoke a bit every day, I'll save it all up, wait for the perfect moment when all the circumstances are right, and get truly and properly baked off my ass all day long.

You should wait atleast a month. It will never be as good as when you first started though. I need to take a break for a bit because i am stoned the majority of the time and its become that being stoned is like being sober, and being sober is just messed up. It's been getting weird lately, so I too need a break.

Honestly I took a two month break* and, yea, I was getting hell baked for a while when i started again, but pretty soon my tolerance returned to normal. and even before it did, it still didnt compare to when you first start smoking. in my opinion, weed tolerance has a large psychological factor, mostly having to do with being cognizant of the attributes of a marijuana high prior to ingesting it, which is something you don't have when you first start.

*I did smoke 3 grams of spice (not spice gold, just spice. still worked) and 1 gram of 99-0 chillin during the interim.
